Evidence to show women actually are paid less in this area ??What evidence will suffice? There's already one person dismissing studies without pointing out the flaws in their methodology.

BTW...
Can we get this thread back on to how awesome or shit Trump is???
Let's put this here.
polls? Oh come on, I think we've already established they're useless!
Anyway, on that topic - I might have mentioned a workmate of mine was over in the States earlier in the year. Hispanic voters - particularly the Cubans in Florida - were for the immigration restrictions because they didn't want any more over in the US competing for the jobs.

Breitbart absolutely schools the BBC.. oh low the BBC has fallen.

@NTA I suspect that is because the "mood of change" amongst the constituency is an inherent check / balance of a democratic political system. We often have 6/8/9 years of one brand of politics which takes policy left or right - hopefully in response to society's actual wishes and which may be supported by the judiciary in the absence of a government appointed courts of law - and then we have the next 6/8/9 years of the other brand of politics which brings policy roughly back to the middle overall, to correct a government's "misinterpretation" of societal norms, or where a government crusades based on their ideology. Legacies are built on whether that legislation (or the common law) remains uncontested by the successor government / courts e.g. equal employment opportunity, legalising abortion, gay marriage / rights, decriminalising cannabis, compulsory superannuation, retirement age, bathrooms for a "third gender"...
That sounds good in theory...

That was embarrassing . He got owned on everything he said.

What a train wreck. What Im finding astonishing about this Bannon thing is how socalled reputable media outlets are labelling him a white supremacist and anti-Semite without providing evidence or using the kind of flimsy evidence this Beeb guy used.
It's like they feel their perceived moral superiority and intelligence exempts them from actually having to put a proper argument forward or use evidence.

There Trumpire is cleaning a bit of house before January:
In summary: $25M settlement for Trump University lawsuits.

Seems to be scared people out there. Is it justified?

Neither side is covering themsleves in glory. But Trump reacting via Twitter sums up my concerns about his reactive nature.
You are not alone in that.. and it really puzzles me
You seem to infere that both sides actions have some sort of equivalence... and indeed Trump is worse.
Pence just went to see a play, the cast had chip at him, the crowd booed and interrupted the play, then outside he got harassed again and abused. There is no equivalence in that. That ois one side doing.. nothing. And the other side being petulant fuckwits.
As for Trump, he just texted what many people thought, nothing wrong with that. Obama did lots of non presidential things as well, he made made some shocking decisions. Trump tweets and cuts over the media.. so fucking what? Maybe he needs to as the media is overwhelmingly no doing there job? It is just a nice story that because someone tweets how they feel about events that they are 'reactive'.. dont we want people to be reactive? What is the alternative? Be non reactive?
Trump talking directly to the people is not a bad thing. And I heartily sick of of the false equivalencey argument... people harassing and bleating.. and they are excused because... Trump tweets that they are rude and bleating?Have we traveled so far down the left wing PC bullshit rabbit hole that calling a spade a spade is a bad thing? We actually prefer early mouthed closed room bullshit double speak? If Trump talks shite in some of his tweets.. as he has on occasions.... just call him on it.... better than the alternative.

@booboo
Conventional wisdom dictates you roll over and take being harassed because it's African Americans "voicing their concerns"Trump is a different kind of President. He demands equality, regardless of race. Totally fearless to raise the issue whereas most stay silent. I love it.
PC culture is in serious trouble if he is a successful President.
Wondering what Trump did that was racist toward African Americans and still waiting for Obama to condemn the left's continued violence against Trump supporters. Is he retaining a "dignified silence?"

This is the sort of thing that the Trump administration will likely target. Corporations like Twitter will be found out and likely subjected to federal scrutiny.
