Getting serious.

I got right back up to 109kg. Poor attitude, desk based work and feeling sorry for myself.
My wife has decided on a career change after the last couple of years getting herself into the shape of a very fit 20yo. She's doing a PT course and it suits her. We are an odd couple currently. Large, overweight husband and tiny fit as fuck wife. She has put her foot down and Im her in house experiment. 2 weeks in and I have dropped 4.5kg and again its clean eating, at regular times. Lots of cardio, a bit of yoga and low weight/high reps.
I eat like normal person and I don't feel like killing everyone like I did on the 12 week program. There were days I'd see someone eating a pie at work and I would imagine what it would be like wear their skin as a suit......... I take a little protein with watered down apple juice post work out and that is really the extent of my sups. I have given the grog away though. Its a non entity in my life really. All the guys I enjoy drinking with have moved away or live in NZ. The missus is not a big drinker so it doesn't even occur to me, most of the time, that I could/should even be buying a beer. We don't eat out a lot anymore so there are less triggers.
My calf muscle is almost back to normal and I am no longer limping. It is still a work in progress and I seriously miss being able to break into a jog when I need to. Its been 9 months since it happened and I was told to expect 18months of recovery. Half way and no looking too bad.

I struggled to put weight on it in the first month. I fucked up there. It set me back, being lazy and a wuss, about 6 months.

There are degrees in Achilles tear injuries. A couple of mates have suffered and one was back walking in a few weeks, the other was in a boot for a couple of months and struggled badly thereafter. Nothing to do with being a wuss mate.

It was more the putting weight on it to strengthen the calf. I just didn't push my self the way I should have.

Finally at a stage where i can do more vigorous training and this weekend I will be getting the help of my new live in trainer. The mrs is now a PT and I've managed to convince her to take me on as her project.
She is a nazi when it comes to her own training regime and nutrition. We may get a divorce when Im done but at least I'll look good for my Tinder photo..

been a long time. so ive been doing fuck all for a long time. work is a fluffybunny for time these days but in lazy too.
my wife is a fucken monk with her nutrition and training but its her job now so she has to be.
I lasted about 2 months under her instruction before she would no longer accept sex for payment. Sorry I meant 2 days not months.
i take the dog(a mental 9 month old Kelpie/collie) for a run most mornings and come home after work and do chest and arms for as long as it take to get the boss off my back. after the achilles injury i got scared of leg training and have done enough to get my bad leg to the point where its almost the same size as the other one. I only really notice its small.
anyway ive been down to as low as 92 in the last 8 months. Currently 99 and im hapoy with that. Major factor in my weight maintenance is that i gave up drinkibg for anythinv but special occasions.

This sentence would indicate you're actually pissed but ok.

Any other PT's etc you can approach to get a training plan for your legs. Longer term getting more active with leg workouts would give you confidence that it's strong and further training is good rather than a risk?? If you are running on it regularly surely it's going pretty well no?
