3rd and 4th halfback poll

I'd say if fit, they will go with Pulu because he is 'experienced'
I think Hall is a better defensive 9, but cant see them going for Hall and TTT
So while I have gone for Hall & TTT, I think they will pick Smith, Pulu, TTT

Better defensively than Pulu?

Far out, after TTT the next pick is tough. All much of a muchness, all have issues. I’m guessing they will pick Drummond.
Can’t see Pulu being a good pick with all his faults and coming back from an injury. The rest are meh.
Huge drop off from Smith and TJ

@taniwharugby I was just about to say...
Pulu's defense is one of the things I can't complain about, he's almost better than any halfback in that aspect.

@kirwan I think TTT and Drummond are the two who've attended the foundation days, so I reckon the smart money would be on them.
I'm not reckless enough to offer to eat my hat :), but I'd be pretty stunned if any of Booth, Christie or Hammington were in the frame.
If Weber or Pulu were ahead of TTT, wouldn't they also have called them into the North Island Foundation Day - despite being injured? Not like there weren't other walking wounded at the FD.
Which leaves the questions of (a) whether Hall would have been called into a South Island Foundation Day now they might need two new halfbacks; and (b) how much they've marked Drummond down on a pretty terrible five minutes on Saturday night - I've marked him down quite solidly, but then I had him and Hall neck and neck as the best Crusaders' halfback. I suspect the AB selectors are bit less knee-jerk.
