Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Star Trek’ Will Be R-Rated: ‘The Revenant’s Mark L. Smith Frontrunner Scribe
Maybe they should let Quentin make a Star Wars movie. Of course it has to be a Mace Windu movie!!

It’s not as good as you think, the show runners were fired because of how they were treating the staff. And the guy now in charge is the one who conceived the whole thing.
So it shouldn’t be much different, unless you work there
I’m very worried about how they are going to handle Spock. He’s been confirmed for season 2.

Well, killing off the main character is the only way the show could possibly be redeemed. Maybe season 3 won't be absolutely awful!
I doubt I'll watch the second season. Will watch The Orville though, despite Seth McFarlane.

It's Star Trek, how would redeeming it be possible?

created shows like “Gossip Girl”

How can it be poorly written? Find new planet. Kirk has sex with scantily clad inhabitant. Scotty finds more power. Klingons get defeated. It's logical.
