@Rocky-Rockbottom yeah not only losing a dragon but gifting the night king a fucking undead ice dragon is, to me, a massive fucking deal. Especially given how easy it was. When Dani smiled at her dragons at the start you'd think she would have been bemoaning how big a loss that was instead. I mean the wall would have been more of an obstacle without the ice dragon, that kind of opened up the gates to hell.

@Machpants given they supposedly have 3 endings ready incase the 'favoured' one gets leaked prior to the finale, who knows what they are upto.
I blame GRRRRRRR

@Machpants I'm thinking that at some point Bron will kill Cersei, not sure if that will be a change of heart after she asks him to kill Jaime, or if he'll work out who the winning side will be and gets in early. Because if there is one thing Bron does it's getting IN!!
-
Was there a director for that episode? Surely the villagers would've had more than a mild reaction to seeing two big fuck off flying dragons?
Director: act more surprised and frightened in the next take

Pretty sure I read that the actors for Bron and Cercei had an affair years ago and fucken hate eachother thus can never be in a scene together.
So therefore the tension and hostility should be nice and real.

@MN5 Absolutely correct, but it was a relationship and not an affair, and from what I have read they both have it written into their respective contracts that they aren't to be in the same scene together. They absolutely despise each other and can't stand the sight of each other.
It's why Bron takes Podrick away from the Dragon pits before Cersei arrives for the negotiations.

There's no way I'd accommodate that sort of childish crap. Simply hire any other actor ffs.

Guess when your producing the biggest show in the world with beloved and established actors you find a way around it.
I’d imagine Hollywood is full of issues like this. Cast members who don’t get along and unable to work together -

I’d imagine Hollywood is full of issues like this. Cast members who don’t get along and unable to work togetherYep, both are awesome characters ( Well Cercei is a fucken bitch but she plays it well....I've already expressed my Bronn man love ) and hard to imagine anyone else in those parts.
By quirk of fate both have made it to the final season and in a cast that size it's probably not THAT hard to work around........

There's a good reason most people can't imagine anyone else playing those parts...
My understanding is their relationship was over before the first season even started. So it seems odd to me that they knew each other was going to star and specifically stated they wouldn't work with each other.
I'd never heard of Jerome Flynn before GoT

I think you're overcomplicating it.....
"This bloke is a TV star, fuck he'd be good for the role.....oh I see he hates Lena whatshername.....ah well, loads of characters just write everything seperate so they never have to see eachother"

So what are the end predictions. Finally watched it last night.
The obvious one to me is that Snow commandeers a dragon that becomes loyal to him and takes out the dragon lady on her Dragon and he gets the throne and a dragon or two as pets?
But that is unlikely now the story is heading that way.
@Hooroo I can't recall if it has been raised in the series, but it certainly is in the books, and that is ... there is only ever one "rider" for a dragon. Once the first person is allowed (by the Dragon) to ride the dragon then they are bonded until death do them part.
So the significance of Jon (Aegon Targaryen) Snow riding Rhaegal was either downplayed by this episode or will come up later or just simply ignored.
Also cool is that the dragon he rode was named after his Father but he wasn't aware of that fact until after he rode it.

Perhaps I am. But if someone came to me and said I'm happy to work on this, but I can't be in the same room as this other person, I'd quickly determine which (if any) of them I needed.

Cooooooooooooooooooool!!! I hope it does tie back and acknowledged in the program. I haven't read any of the books so have no clue about it. I barely remember character names, only recognise the face

Boring episode. Massive yawn.
