Congress passed a resolution to disengage US forces from the war in Yemen.
Good news right?
Nope. Trump used his veto power
Also, Amash is correct that this resolution should not have been needed. However Congress has abdicated it's power to the Executive for so long this sounds strange to most people

Meanwhile the Democrats are more concerned with his tax returns. That tells us everything we need to know about them.

This might be the biggest self-own of the year.
The MoveOn organization was created back in 1988 as a leftist propaganda racket to get the public & Congress & news media to put Clintonâs impeachment behind them. Hypocritical hacks.
Itâs hard not to feel a little bit bad for shell-shocked Dem supporters. Theyâve been spoonfed a daily dose of impeachment suspense, promises by their leadership that âweâve seen the documents,â promoted Bob Mueller as a cross between Superman and a Saint, and the grand climax of two years is.... is.... is piffle ... itâs Geraldo opening Al Caponeâs vault times a billion.
So Dem leadership is feeling the squeeze. Theyâve seen poll numbers of American voters who want the witchhunt put behind them, but theyâre petrified of over-promising and under-delivering to their donor class, who at this point is a religious cult looking for the Trump familyâs heads on pikes.
Next stop is a circular firing squad.
