I'm going to start a show called Warrior, looks like Gangs of New York set in Chinatown, and is made by the same dudes who did Banshee. What's not to like?
For Aussie based Ferners, this starts showing on Foxtel tonight. I've already got it series linked and quite excited as it certainly looks good and from past posts you may recognize that I may or may not have a slight streak of yellow fever
Where has it gone? I've lost all trace of it?
@mariner4life it's back available for download.
I think something had gone wrong because on Tuesday when I went looking for it in the On Demand area, it didn't show including in the search. Also when I checked the series link in the Scheduled area it only showed the first 3 episodes.
Last night when I watched Ep 1 which I recorded, suddenly the full series, 10 episodes in total, were showing and were available to download or stream.
So before going to bed I set all to download and this morning when I checked all 10 Episodes had completed downloading, all 25 GB or so.
And yes, Ep 1 of Warrior was enjoyable in a Banshee kinda way, plenty of good action and T&A. Also for sharp eyed viewers there is even the odd easter egg referring to Banshee including the word "Banshee" stenciled on a wall above the characters.
Finally, unlike @Rancid-Schnitzel, I loved all the boobs on display and for those without a streak of yellow fever, there is a full nude of a white chick with a nice set and body.

Same happened to me and I ended up going to bed far too late! Really like this show. The kind of mindless entertainment that delivers exactly what you want. Just like Banshee and the greatest of them all - Spartacus. They have to expand on that. Ancient history is full of awesome storylines involving gratuetous violence, bonking and nudity. Tap that market dammit.

Half Filipino are often very attractive too.

watched 1st ep of Warrior, looks like it'll be worth sticking with.
I see S3 of Jessica Jones is out now too.

I thought that I would watch a few episodes of Killing Eve after all the hype. Talk about disappointing.
Fell asleep during the middle of episodes four times in a row. Dull, self-important, cliched and unrealistic. Jodie Comer is the least convincing Russian agent since Barbara Bach in the Spy Who Loved Me.

Hey triple X did a great job and Ringo is punching like a mother fucker in that relationship.

I'm six episodes deep, and it's not disappointing.

yeah I'm all in on Warrior!
Reckon the main guy, Ah San, looks like a slim version of Akira.

Warrior is awesome. One episode left.
It's actually even educational with the info about the Chinese immigration to the US at that time.

Toast Of London
Some genuinely weird shit in here from Matt Berry (IT Crowd) and a range of recurring and cameo guests (Jon Hamm, various British actors). Overall I found it was better to binge the 18 episodes over 3 series, which were loosely connected and ranged from "hilarious" to "WTF?"
Some nudity in there as well. Masonic Orgy is all I'll say.

I enjoyed it.
Matt Berry is also in the TV series "what we do in the shadows" based on the movie with the same title and written by written by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. I enjoyed the first season of this immensely.

I thought Years and Years was excellent. Great cast, beautifully written, very dark indeed in many places, funny in other places and uplifting in a few. Well made and evocative TV.
Still on BBC I Player in the UK. Coming soon on HBO elsewhere.
Best not to know too much. It is family drama set in Manchester against a (possible) near future of technology and politics. Won't say much more.
Not for the self-righteous or easily offended. But if you admire V for Vendetta, Brave New World or Orwell's 1984 then the Lyons family saga is for you.
