Counties vs Auckland

@Kirwan I don't think the ref looked one way. Auckland was clearly the worst offender. No big things, just a lot of little things. The cards were clearly for an accumulation of penalties; not for something bad.
The defence was solid, but a messy game. Last 5-10 minutes made difference.

That back three when Trainor gets back is going to be crazily good for Mitre 10 level.
Hopefully we stick to that starting half combination.
And obviously Dalton gets through a ton of work.
Just need to get another good lock from somewhere, that’s the big hole.

@Duluth Nah give them an extra week.
You should worry about Otago first. Apparently their reserve 15 is a gun

Man that 1st half was a horrible watch with mistakes galore and awful discipline from both sides /the ref having no control of things out there. Can't believe we managed to get 5 points out of that game as we were all over the place for most of it.

One of the toughest games to watch this season. The attack from both sides was pretty bad for most of the game.
The issues at halfback continue.

@Duluth Hahaha gold!
So Auckland fans, Tusitala or Ruru going forward? Currenty I'd start Ruru but look at injecting Tusitala at around the 45-50 minute mark but that's just me. Either way I wouldn't be too fussed if Tusitala took over the starting role permanently.

Ruru by default.
Maybe its worth putting Funaki on the bench?

@Nogusta Geez our depth is getting tested at 6. I wasn't overly impressed by Redlinger-Kapa and Choat didn't know what he was doing there (understandably) against Canterbury. I guess Redlinger-Kapa comes back by default.
Good to have Scrafton back. I hope Peter Chanel-Tagaloa stays on the bench as well. He has far more upside than Lane going forward.
