Wellington vs Otago
-
@Stargazer such a waste of a spot.
-
@Steven-Harris and then add in the development of Flanders.
-
@Stargazer you know what, the Saders are the sought of organisation that will sniff out an opportunity like this..TBN will be on their radar if he’s not signed by anyone else...
-
@Steven-Harris I wonder how much truth is in the rumour that they're interested in Frizell.
-
@Stargazer have not heard anything..but will keep an ear to the ground..
-
@Stargazer try saver from Billy the kid.
-
@Stargazer it says a lot about Wellington actually. They look to be getting their game going. Combinations are starting to gel and it’s shown in some of the great tries that have been scored today. Aumua looks in great nick, which is good news as he will be over to Japan in a heart beat if we get any injuries to our hookers.

@Stargazer said in Wellington vs Otago:
This game says more about Otago than Wellington IMO. Sure, Wellington is playing well, but Otago is mentally not there, that's clear. The Shield is proving to be a huge distraction. So many stupid mistakes.
Hope you are right and they don't lose the shield.

Well, I was mentioning them because they don't mind picking up players who have been in trouble with the law more than suggesting the Crusaders would pick him up.

@Nepia i’m not sure how much say Chris Gibbes has but the fact he is moving into the Hurricanes assistant role should mean he has some say in selection. If he isn’t a clown then he would table Ben Nicholas as a versatile 6/8 option.
-
@Steven-Harris he’s not troubled now, this was a wee while back. Apparently OBU in Wellington have really worked with him over the last few years to get him into a great head space to flourish and it’s showing.

@Nepia it’s probably the perfect environment for a troubled player to head to.
Is The Chief still a troubled player? His "troubles" happened four years ago, right?
-
Josh Ioane in a well beaten team has got some really great touches to his game...
-
@Canes4life Yeah, the chance of the Wellington bias getting stronger is huge.
But seriously, if Henwood has re-signed or is still under contract, there may not be a vacancy in the Canes' loose forwards. Most players have already re-signed. Henwood and Bedwell-Curtis are the only question marks, but Flanders is likely to come in as well.
