They are oh so predictable with their mad cow technique - the smart alec sheila makes her unsupported assertion about racism directed at the American skank and, when the guest speaker responds, she interrupts to make it again. When he repeats his response she rudely talks over him again, smirks that stupid smirk and adds her maniacal racist accusation aimed at all white males everywhere.
They are incapable of civilised discourse and really ought to be confined to the home paddock until called in to prepare dinner.

Laurence Fox's response when asked about the next Labour leader was epic. He thought for a few seconds and nominated Sir Keir Starmer as someone who could take on Boris.
Labour’s Shami Chakrabarti then asked him "what about the women candidates". She soon wished she hadn't...
Fox replied "It's not about the women.....jeepers creepers" (banging his head on the desk in exasperation and looking at Chakribati)...."OK, sorry, Let me rewind... any of the women then, is that better?.....after all It's really, really important what gender or sex you are. rather that what policies you have or how you approach politics"
It was fucking glorious.

@Victor-Meldrew it gave me hope!

@Bones Whole debate.
That's a "row" is it? Not sure that ever got to the point of 'a noisy acrimonious quarrel'.

Deal done. It's a hard Megexit. Meghan and Harry will live in North America. They will remember members of the Royal Family and keep titles. But won't be able to use HRH and will have to pay back money on Frogmore renovations. They won't formally represent the Queen.
The Queen reminds them all who is the Queen

It's not the 1930s anymore, but Harry will still face big challenges living life outside the firm for the first time. Doesn't mean to say he can't be happy
-
@canefan I think he will be stoked. While they are still connected, and family, getting away from the official side of things must feel like freedom. To choose what they want to promote or support via their profile.
Man, the queen is just a straight out boss. She's handled this messy situation of public and family drama pretty bloody well from where I'm sitting. Bet she dropped the hammer behind the scenes though 😁
Wonder if Canda will be ok to have them now...

Prince Philip was more than little miffed (royal talk for seriously pissed off), I heard somewhere.

The luvvies are triggered and they only make themselves look even more ridiculous . "Disgrace to industry"? ffs the industry is full of perverts and virtue signalling liars, hard to think of any way they be more of a disgrace

And that article is bullshit imo. Cannot see Harry sitting there feeling sorry for himself and being isolated and reliant on Meghans friends etc. Dude is one of the most people friendly (ex) royal family members.
For all the cries of modern life etc so many of these commentators are showing some nasty old school worldviews. Bet the non-royals have a list of the less supportive folks, headed up with ol Piers!

That article was an interest take, and a bit of a swing at/challenge to Megs.
Watching from the outside we've all assumed she's the diva driving the whole thing (Me-Me-Meghan). This writer is putting it out there that there's two people in the relationship and they'll need to be mutually supportive, with the underlying implication that it's unlikely. What Meghan wants ...

Looks like Brenda has played hard-ball. Harry & Megs can no longer use HRH and are paying back the £2.4m for the cottage renovation.
Sounds reasonable to me.

You can't use HR if not a representative of the monarch, so that one was obviously coming. Queenie can't take back her gift of the cottage so the reno cost repayment is a clever (and cheap) way to keep them secure when in the UK. The cottage is in the grounds of the house, which in turn is deep within the protected lands at Windsor. No paps or plebs are getting in there easily and that lessens the need for extensive and expensive private security. A cheap trade off.
