Lucky you didn't need a multioptipupiloptomy

Been doing some early morning walking, as I tend to wake up around 0600 for completely fucking unknown reasons.
Have put in some light jogging during this and things seem to be improved over the vision/migraine issues BUT early days.
Today the kids were both home from school. The boy had PE for his last session today, and his teacher really phoned it in giving options of 20-30 minute jog OR bike ride OR a circuit of squats/lunges/pushups/situps etc
I gave him the option and he took bike ride, so a gentle 6.6km later we'd clocked 26 minutes @ 15km/h which is pathetic. But the kid isn't that active so its a start.
Gym has closed and payments suspended, so gotta do something.

What with one thing and another, you’ve been through the wringer mate but the main thing is your positivity. Keep that up and your halfway there. Good on you Nick.

Ha! I had that exact same thought the other day. Another month locked up at home is an opportunity to shred, particularly as food supplies run low*
I looked at the last weight chart I set up on New Year and projected I should be about this weight a month ago, so...
However, the doctor did warn me that one cholesterol issue (a partial blockage in one artery) could also be related to my weight loss efforts a couple of years back. Can't win, really
If I target 500g per week, then by end of April I'll be at around 98.
*Note: My wife is half italian. Food will never run low

@mariner4life getting my 3year old to ink me up brah. Probably end up with better tats than most lol.

I moved to Bali 3 months ago, weighed 105kgs.
Didn't really ramp up the exercise massively given heat and humidity, but totally changed eating habits. Ate much earlier in the evening, smaller portions. Cut a lot of wine out.
Left Bali a few weeks ago at 96kgs.
Currently in Queenstown working on restoring my former glory.

Just looked at the private health for my operation - I paid $70 out pocket at the hospital, and another $75 for follow up medication and radiology.
Health fund paid out nearly TWENTY. FUCKING. THOUSAND.
Last time I'll bitch about the premiums... For a while...

Weather has been shit lately for the most part. And I've been enjoying beer.
But I have a goal: Next stress echo is on May 13th, and the doc said I should be back running by then.
So that means I've got to have a plan! This week i need to resume running (of a sort) and build into a 5km run so let's do this Monday/Wednesday/Friday of each week, with maybe a bike ride Sundays:
Week 1: 3km jog/shuffle at any pace
Week 2: 3km under 19.5 minutes (6:30/km)
Week 3: 5km jog/shuffle any pace
Week 4: 5km under 35 minutes
Week 5: 5km under 30 minutes
Week 6: 5km under 28 minutesReckon that is achievable if the circulatory system stands up to it. By the time I hit that treadmill, shirtless and covered in electrodes, I reckon I'll avoid making a complete idiot out of myself in front of the cute little radiologist.
EDIT: will bookend the 3km work with 1km walking each end as a warm up / cool down. No need to be stupid. If I consistently hit the goals early, I'll bring things forward.

@voodoo I tend to not bother with the heart rate - if the vision starts to fade then I know I'm overdoing it.
I should probably do a post-run measure and then a 5 minute recovery just to track it. I don't have any fancy doodads hooked up to Strava.

Much better in terms of pace BUT I went out a little too hard on the first km (6:12) and the vision got a little dim a couple of minutes later. Decided to increase breathing rate which seemed to help a little for second km (6:19), and then relaxed into the last one (6:38).
No idea why the "moving time" above is different to the lap splits 🤔
For @voodoo I did a 124BPM straight after the run and then 102BPM 5 minutes later 😉
Probably room to stretch myself but not yet...
