Not trying to talk you out if the Prado. Probably a good vehicle but here is a comparison in a Land Rover

Not as popular though so could take a little longer to offload.
That looks awesome. Not sure if it's worth going to the bloody Hutt for though!
We should close the Hutt off to foreigners anyway. Only 20 covid cases and all cleared. Would be easy to do. Only 4 roads and a ferry.

I went to the Plaza in PN this avo. To be fair, they probably should have closed it off also, and maybe set fire to it.

Happy to start with Plaza and go from there. The Esplanade still has value.
Btw, in all seriousness , there is a restaurant here called Beijing Hotpot, and it is fucking outstanding. They do a shallow fried sliced chicken in spicy bean paste and a beef in mung bean spicy soup that are both outrageously good. In 2 weeks, we have ordered the same 2 dishes 3 times.

weI have ordered the same 2 dishes 3 times. It's a fair assertion, but the missus absolutely tops me on demand for spicy Asian food. Where I'm happy to mix it up with home cooked lamb shoulders and pork bellies, she would eat 100% Asian takeaway food everyday of the week!

Rose city cars.
I think my cousin still owns that business; he's a good fluffybunny although I don't know that he'd be a pushover for getting a lower price out of.
Cool, thanks
Looks like they also have a couple of Landcruisers on their website
If I head in there shall I lead with "Hey, so I sorta know your cousin from the internet..."
🤣🤣🤣

Thoughts on this @Crucial ?
I reckon I could get it for $12k
I prefer the Outback variant for the extra clearance and height but this is otherwise the same vehicle. Looks pretty good mileage and age. Is a comfortable car(more car like than upright sitting big 4WD). Will get better km to the litre (remember how expensive petrol gets down south).
Most importantly will get you up and down the ski roads fine.Edit: should say that I'm no expert but just had an outback for a few years as our ski vehicle and it did the job well
