You can thank me later.

Brilliant.
Okay... only heard of this today... I was feeling a little embarassed at how much time I spent on it, until I read something about it, and realised I was still in "Stage 1".
WTF.So I started playing this the other day after reading about it here, and then left it running on my second laptop, and only just check in occasionally.
How far has anyone gone in it?
I'm not sure I'm doing it right, but I'm at the point where my investments dwarf my paperclip business but I'm pretty sure I'm still in stage 1.

Yeah - spent an entire day on it, and "clocked it". Took me hours longer than it should have, as I spent ages trying to balance the input/output at a much later stage than you're at. As soon as I realised... "go exponential growth, you dumb fluffybunny" - it was over pretty quick.
And yeah - if you're still talking investments... there's a fair way to go. -

Wonderfully designed game.

Highly recommend 'Lies Beneath'. First person survival horror game. Easily the best game on the Quest right now and I understand a more graphically beefed-up version is coming soon to the Rift. A hell of a lot of fun but also a genuinely terrifying experience, heart goes a mile a minute playing. Gotta play it on hard where the enemy are stronger and you get bugger-all ammo so you have to make some hard choices on how to deal with each situation.

And yeah - if you're still talking investments... there's a fair way to go.I think this game clearly highlights my lack of ambition in life. TBF, I've just been leaving it running and checking in occasionally, and not managing it properly, but now I'm thinking what is the point of working on it when I have a couple of billion dollars just sitting in my investments and cash.
I'd like to know what you guys are talking about but am I just too lazy to concentrate on playing it properly?

If you totally want to shit yourself, spend your $2 here: https://www.pcgamer.com/alien-isolation-is-95-on-sale-for-dollar2thats-95-off/
I'm far too scared to try it in VR mode, it's terrifying enough on a PC monitor

Yep, they've taken the billions they've earned from fortnight and put some towards making a steam competitor

On quarantine I have gone from being a dad that plays Call of Duty badly to having an average of 40 kills per round on team deathmatch. I am now better than my son and he hates it. My daughter is only marginally better and than me now. But shes plays all day every day while shes off work and studies.

I've been playing Day of Infamy (which is old so sometimes I'll play practice matches while waiting for a server) which I like because it's not just run and jump and shoot. I've definitely gotten better with constant play.
Gutted I don't have a PC so can't get Civ free.
