Not just racist. Clearly "Rona" is a women's name so it's blatantly sexist as well.
Someone ban this cnt!

It's ratings have been falling for years. Probably a wise decision.

@voodoo
You might not like Jacinda but you have to respect the position she has and the responsibility she has been charged with. Not sure I said I didn't like her? Or that I don't respect her position? I typically sit further right than where she is, and I've been critical of the speed they've let us come out of lockdown. But I've also maintained they did the right thing putting us into lock down initially, particularly as they were operating with such limited information and evidence. Incredibly tough job, and I suspect she (and other world leaders) barely slept for the months of Feb and March.

well, you seem like a barrel of laughs
Anyone else just fucking had it with this thing? Seems like it's a 3rd world problem now, so lets get back to normal aye?

I'm with you Jerry.
I just stood in a queue at Westpac, who are already operating reduced L2 hours for some unfathomable reason , for a solid 40 minutes. 10 people deep outside, 3 deep inside. 2 tellers and some roaming staff.
Once I got to speak to a roamer, I explained how I had moved back to NZ and wanted to restart my old bank account or open a new one if that wasn't possible.
No dice on either.
Apparently under L2 conditions the powers that be at Westpac have decided that they won't be conducting face to face interactions (other than the unimportant tellers I guess?). And that means no new account.
Clearly having a bank account is not deemed very important these days.

that's retarded.
What is doing my head in at the moment is that we are looking at re-opening (at a significantly reduced capacity) next weekend. All of our time at the moment is based around preparing "Covid-Safe" plans. These are based on regulations/guidelines that haven't been decided yet, are still being developed, and are changing by the day.
Which is bad enough, if i didn't remember that i could go to Coles and Bunnings with hundred of other people in fucking April!!! If someone was going to get it, they were going to get it then.
Open the borders!!! open the fucking pubs!!!! let people go to the footy!! if you are over 65, or have significant health issues, take fucking precautions!!!!

Honestly, they have to be the worst bank in the country.
Kiwibank, ASB will bite your hand off for new business (I bet)

We shifted across to TSB, and have no regrets. Small, but good personalised service and managed to do what we asked, in writing, without stuffing up. Some other banks (Westpac, I'm looking at you) couldn't manage that...
