@No-Quarter That thread from Ross Tucker in her tweet is also very good.

So glad to see Ross Tucker there - he seems really on the ball on a lot of issues around sports science.
Oh, and the walrus called him a nobody and abuses him on Twitter.
There is no higher recommendation!

@Bones Have Women's (XY) Rugby and then Open Rugby. Trans Gender or Third Gender people can compete in Open Rugby alongside Men. Non-discriminatory and maintains safety.
That's one option but I would prefer three types. Men. Women. Trans folk.
Then if they can get at least two teams going they can play.

I agree - safest way forward for women, trans and white cis rugby playing males

White?
And fuck off with that cis shit. Males and trans males. That’s it.

Or as SA rugby fans might say, trans stain.

Interview with Ross Tucker
Good to see detailed analysis and stats to back up what is essentially a common sense argument.
As has been said before, I think we will end up with an open class and a biological womans class. If we don't, that's the end of woman's sport.

This would be like prime Frans Botha having to fight the dregs in the heavyweight division today. It would get ugly fast.
-
uglier than Frans Botha?

It's what I should be, but I just can't see it unfortunately.
Anything where trans people aren't treated 100% as the gender they have converted too is smashed down hard as transphobic. It's only a matter of time until there is a scientific led report which states that if you take xxx of xxxx drugs over a period of xxx time then no longer have any biological advantage & any other research is widely discredited.
Transgender debate, in sport, in general
