Paddy is so much better than Campbell it's not even funny. Why the hell did they get fucking Campbell for the first debate?

@pakman I wonder if they've relaxed requirements at all?
Part is probably deterioration in China:US relations, then there's UK courses being shorter than those offered in US, and UK (cunningly) reopening a post-study work programme for Chinese graduates.
China:Oz relations may explain reluctance to head there.

What surprised me most was that Collins is actually quite a laugh. Jacinda may be a nice person but she's not much fun. Very earnest.
Collins did a regular segment on the am show for quite a while. She was very funny on that

Warning, contains scenes of violence that may offend some viewers.
Crusher lived up to her billing. Gower also very good. Jacinda very sharp on Covid but floundering on gritty issues.

The one thing that cannot be overstated is what an outstanding job David Seymour has done over the last term to regain credibility and relevance for ACT. Sure he's had some luck drawing his private members bill and National imploding but nevertheless he has performed a Lazarus on a party that every (can't think of a dissenting voice) political commentator said should just quietly fold up after 2017.
More and more over the last six months he has looked like the real leader of the opposition.
Be interesting to see how he manages an extended caucus that's bound to include at least a couple of loose cannons.

Leaning towards giving my party vote to Act at the moment. Could change on the day of course...

I saw Collins speak with Mark Mitchell a while back, and yes she has a sense of humour. Admittedly it was at a vineyard so I was in a good mood.

@Godder we're both showing our age now.
At least the leader of mcgillicuddy serious was true to his word. When he didn't win as promised, he wrapped himself in sackcloth and ashes, and was publicly flogged before winding up the party. Set an example to politicians to keep their words 👍
Edit: and one of their policies was to move wellingtons airport to Lambdon quay to encourage shopping as people disembarked
