I'm hearing that the issue I have above is part of twitter trialing new "healthy conversations" features which mute tweets that they deem do not contribute to the conversation. Great of them to decide that on our behalf.

@No-Quarter really just turning off their servers would sort out so that crap

Good, the sooner they run that cancer into the ground the better.

Saw a great tweet on this, but sadly impossible to find now. Basically along the lines of all Twitter needs to do is delete accounts that list preferred pro-nouns, 80% of these issues would disappear overnight.
I always hated twitter but this Telegram that people are jumping on now is actually bloody good and unlike twitter doesn't lend itself so much to the outrage mobs.

Horrible sources for his arguments..but excellent idea for a cafe especially in London.
I used to live the old greasy spoon cafes. They still exist?, a menu you could read without sounding like a retarded nonce and about 1/3 the price

@Rembrandt There are still plenty. If anybody is in the East London area really early in the morning I heartily recommend the Billingsgate Cafe. All the fish market workers eat there so it closes at 9am. It’s not a greasy spoon but pretty damn cheap and the food is fantastic. Smoked Haddock with poached eggs, toast and a mug of tea for a tenner. What a way to start a day or end a night. They have some really cool dishes too, their bacon and scallops is incredible, and unlike most places in the UK the scallops are nice ones, properly prepared, which I guess you’d expect given the punters really know their seafood.
I know a cafe open from midnightish to 9 is a bit niche, but if you find yourself available, give it a visit.

@Stockcar86 if you enjoyed that, have a read of James Mahaffey book nuclear accidents. Just finished it, easy reading style and goes into good detail about that and a heap of other accidents.
