Blues vs. Chiefs

@Stargazer Exactly especially in these conditions.

Oh well better than our usual close loss we usually take against NZ teams.

Good work by the blues - shame they didn't win - they played better.
This is just an ordinary chiefs team though. They consistently turn the ball over and leave points on the field. We'll lose in the first round of the playoffs.
It's their playing style though. They chance their arm a lot and when it comes off it is the goods. I find it entertaining.
In the playoffs they would hopefully pick the moments better in bad conditions. They back themselves to make something out of nothing as per that last try. -
Probably a fair result given the way both teams played and the conditions did deteriorate during the game.
Some desperate defence by both, but some very poor skills. Turnovers galore.

There's our Jimmy doing the interview in his headgear......

Another good piece of play in the AB watch category was in the last minute as the Blues tried to break on the right hand side. Watch Cruden call a defensive mark from well inside and come across at an angle to make a tackle so that his outside defenders didn't have to commit. If one of them had come in and an offload made the Blues would have broken out.

@African-Monkey He's played well the last few weeks. Certainly better than Riccitelli (poor this season) and Harris.
He's behind Taylor, Coltman, and Coles though.
