Have been training but I notice that a slight change in intensity or diet can make a big difference. Must be right in the edge. Certain nocturnal activities also mean training that morning is cancelled which isn't good because I'm snowed under with work as well and day and evening training is difficult. Certainly a first world problem but it's interesting to see how fine that balance is and the effect it can have on me, both physically and mentally.
Anyway, back and triceps this morning. Was on point and killing it until this dumpy chick started talking to me while mid-set (literally while I was in the process of doing dips and triceps) and asking me about my goals and what I thought about Arnold. Was very polite to her, but she kept following me around until I started doing incline medicine ball twists and was panting like a smoker. Scampered when she was on other side of gym. Flattered to some extent, but you don't farking talk to someone mid-set ffs. That would have pissed me off regardless of hotness.
Rooting?
Well I'm not scavenging for food 😉

Been a shocking run of late. Youngest sons school was closed down due to influenza outbreak and we all of course caught it. On day 4. Thought I'd be better today but am incredibly fatigued. There is certainly a difference between the real deal and what people claim is the flu.
Will be hurting next week.

Ah mate, just the thought of training...and other stuff exhausts me. This shit sucks. The weird, feverish dreams don't help.

Not close to 100% but hit gym on Monday. Shoulders. Went OK. Didn't overdo it.
Today: Chest and biceps. Didn't go too hard on the BP, but workout was probably too much. Fark it!
Cardio completely out of the question at the moment.

Did a legs session and back and tris to finish the week. Still not fully recovered but getting there. Have to drink so much water.
Unfortunately back on Tinder, (actually Bumble this time). Seems every time I decide to go all in I get burned. Bit clueless now. Went a bit balastic, but some decent matches. We'll see what happens, but I have to stop being so naive.

Managed a good run on Sunday and the past three days have been spot on.

Chest and biceps today. Pissed off because of time constraints. Son forgot goggles before swimming training and I had to drive back and get them. I also wasted precious time when I had to take a dump after doing cable crossovers. Don't like halfarsing this day...

Very active weekend 😉. He he.
Managed a good run before lunch on Sunday. Was too tired to train on Monday, but regretted that in the afternoon. Should never ever drop training. That should be nonnegotiable.
Very good shoulder session today.
Wednesday mornings are pretty cool now. Youngest is obsessed with basketball so he shoots hoops while I do laps and burpees. Then I take him to school.

Friday: Back and triceps. Old-timer at the gym chewed my ear off about his new diet. Awesome bloke but damaged the intensity. Ended up ok.
Had date later that night with nice woman but she looked exactly like my mother in law. Was really very awkward. Not sure what tf to say to her. "Sorry you're very nice but you look like the mother-in-law I hate with a passion". Not good.
Saturday was the 10 laps with 5 rounds of pullups and vertical raises. Really good.
Major clean-up of house hampered by 13 year old toddler. Ffs he is slow! I've seen squashed snails move faster.
