1996 - there was a US version and a UK version, god knows if it ever reached NZ...
No one remembers this song... EVER and I think it was one of her best, along with Turn Back Time. Everytime I hear it someone will comment they have never heard it before, it must be associated with a memory somewhere... Love it! 90s Cher ❤️

Cher had alot of big hits but she couldn't match Sonny Bonos biggest hit which was a tree.

This live version of an already great tune just came up on a playlist and I had to play it twice. Simple classic.
Timeless.
They played my town - Aberdare - back in the 90s.
One of the first bands to go back on the road after their heyday.
Played the Boot Hotel which wouldn't have gone amiss at Boot Hill.
They opened and closed their set with this. To a room full of headers on Strongbow and Speed.
Magic darts.

Red Wine and a nice fire. It's a decent night for MN5 tonight.
And next on the playlist

Perfectly summed up in the commments
"Roy Orbison meets Glen Campbell channeled through Bruce."
-
Eurovision Song Contest on, wine in hand feeling like this...

@RLx31 Madonna’s vocals are embarrassing.

If you haven't seen this version of Chers Believe then you are missing out.
And this comment is gold.
"DMA's look like they've just finished painting a piece at Macquarie Fields Train Station and are about to score a bag of shard on tick off their mate EskiOner down at East Hills for a big night ahead at an underground rave out in St. Mary's. But, like most dealers, EskiOner inconveniently wasn't at home and told them to wait a few hours until he got back... So, with a bit of time to kill and growing bored of the amount of Aussie hip-hop and Gabber on their stolen iPhone playlists, they decided to pop in to an Erskinevill music shop, rack a couple of guitars and head up to the JJJ studios to staunch Richard Kingsmill in to allowing them to record an amazing version of Cher's 'Believe'. "
