There are a billion people praying that the rain holds off in Manchester.

What’s the forecast for tonight? Cracking game to be had

  • India Vs Pakistan Vs the Rain in Manchester today.

Looks like the rain will make a significant appearance in the afternoon:

  • Mohammad Amir has already been warned twice for running on the pitch. Oddly, it's mainly 3-4 steps after his delivery stride where he seemed to keep jogging down the middle of the pitch.

    Silly bastard

  • Pakistan badly need a wicket.

  • @hydro11 help if they stopped chucking pies

  • Rohit going gangbusters. Kohli can ease his way into this and then 400 is on the cards with a flourish in the last ten

  • Sharma effs up. 230 plus for 2 now. 38 overs

  • Gale 0 runs from 13 deliveries.

@MN5 will be having a sad fiddle tonight.

Yeah, that's a challenging wank for him alright.

  • Well the Bangles have done it, quite comfortably in the end with the second highest CWC run chase in history. Looks like the Windies are gooooneeee.

Hes gota shocking record vs bangledesh - 0, 1, 37 and now another nil.

Wasn’t even in the mood so had to turn myself down

  • Kinda feels now like we're not even at this WC as it's been so long since we played. Somehow we're still in the top 4 and if anything, our chances of remaining there have strengthened during our absence from the competititon, due to other results. We don't have any entries on the leading run scorers or wicket takers leaderboards now either. Looking forward to hopefully getting some good results in our next three games vs SA, WI and Pakistan, knocking them all out in the process.

That would do exactly that......but in saying that do SA even have a mathematical chance of making it after the start they've had ?

If they still have five games left then I'd say yes?

  • I switched off just after Hetmeyer got out, thinking it would be a challenge for the Bangles.

Woke up to see they'd absolutely FISTED that total in under 45 overs. The highlights were pretty good - not threatened ay all by the short stuff and Shakib is a weapon.

  • We've got the Bangers next, in a few days time. If they can carry over their form from this game then it could be a really interesting match-up.

You feel like a win should be enough to see us into the semi finals.

  • @barbarian I'm pretty happy we have them out of the way already, they'll be full or confidence after that - Shakib is all class and in great form. Should be a good game, think Aus will score too many though.
