Wellington vs Counties Manukau
-
@Stargazer good defence, but fair to say there should have been a card earlier.
-
@Canes4life No, most of those Counties penalties were very soft penalties.
-
@Canes4life They Wellington props are gertting paid a mans wages to do a mans job but frankly should only be getting paid apprentice wages until they can man up in the scrums. You might be quite happy to accept getting a workover in scrums in return for a devastating ball carry or three but I gues I am old school where props did the hard work in the dark spaces and consider a props scrummaging ability to be paramount. Nothing worse in a game of rugby than to watch your scrum under pressure all game, it just gives the other team heaps of momentum and confidence.
-
LOL Wellington coach "not sure they are allowed another maul, off the top from now on"
-
@Higgins I'm not underestimating the importance of being a strong scrummager, as yes that is the most important thing a prop does. I'm just saying don't forget this front row is learning their craft at this level, or is that not allowed these days?
-
What does Wellington do at training?
-
Shocking performance from Wellington so far. 7 handling errors on a night like this is a joke.
-
That was really soft by Counties, both sides given up soft tries now. Wellington just after they scored their 1st and now Counties when they were going to get back to 15 men
-
Can someone tell Peter Umaga Jensen to tackle like a normal player instead of trying to strip every time.
-
@Canes4life You are aware that they are all super rugby players. Players already with Super contracts should not still be "learning their craft" at a lower level.
-
Counties deserve their lead tonight. Wellington have been crap.
I give up, Jackson Garden Bachop is useless.
-
Those missed conversions mean that this game isn't over by a long way
-
@Canes4life I fear for the Canes if he gets the starts next season.
-
@DrivingMaul I just can't see Wellington winning. They keep doing the same thing, it's simply dumb.
-
@Canes4life But not badly enough for said blindside to get subbed off, a fate given to the No 8. Looks like the No 8 was the last Wellington player to try to stop the Counties charge only for it to, somewhat unlucikly I must conceed, get a lucky bounce of the Counties player's shoulder back into his hands for a try.
-
Garden Bachop's pass is just soooo laboured.
-
@Canes4life At last we agree on something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
