Lockdown/Covid Check In

@Catogrande I don't want to cook though!
-
@R-L To be honest, it's not really cooking. Still great though.
And easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.
-
@Catogrande does it involve standing in the kitchen and using my hands and brain...
If so I'm out.
Husband cooked dinner but it was boring. I want take out. Duck chowmein and prawn crackers that I can fork a bit of duck and noods into and chomp like an edible scoop. Ah makes me smile even thinking about it. We rarely order take outs, I just really want the stodge and inside cuddle. -

Duck pancakes being readily available everywhere. I love that little mix of Peking duck, Spring onion, Hoisin sauce and a bit of fresh chilli

It's around but you really pay a premium for it over here where it's more readily available and doesn't cost a lot over there.
I do hear you though as I can't think of anywhere in Matamata I can get it.

Matamata? Chances slim to none. Hamilton is too far just for that, crank up the bbq mate. I did one peking style duck and it was great

@Crucial great decision mate. Labs are such good companions and very trainable. We got a pup a little while ago (will post a pic if I can find a decent one amongst all the dog spam that my kids send me). Enjoy it as a pup, they grow so quickly.

After over 25 years away from labs I am so enjoying just how trainable they are in comparison to other breeds.
This fella has been in his litter pack on a farm up until yesterday. His only manners training has come from his pack.
Already he follows me at heel, comes to call to sit beside me and lies at my feet when I’m at my desk.
If only women were as easy to train.
Being all black he had to have an All Black name ( our last two dogs were named after Howlett and Rokocoko). Has ended up as Steve (after Beaver not Shag).
