Waikato v North Harbour

Waikato take on North Harbour at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton on Saturday afternoon, kick-off is at 2.05pm:
Unavailable for selection
Solomon Alaimalo, Sam Cooper, Ayden Johnstone, Sekope Lopeti-Moli, Laghlan McWhannell, Liam Messam, Rhys Dickinson, James Tucker
-
Iosefa-Scott will need to step up against big Karl in the scrum as Kautai was really good against Wellington. He looked leaner and fitter too.

Rhys Dickinson
Bloody hell I played with him in 2nd XV at school. He was a year below me.
He must be the 3rd halfback in the squad as he came off the bench in the Taranaki game.
-
Jared Page is starting for Harbour at 13. He was in this season's Blues squad, but I've never seen him play.
-
@Bovidae little blonde fella. He's been around the U19s and stuff before so makes sense. Good on him.

Interesting. He played a couple of times for NH last year but I thought he was a 10/15
-
@Duluth I definitely thought he was a 15, and that's where he was selected to play in the Blues squad. Maybe an injury forced selection?

Actually:
North Harbour’s Jared Page, a talented allrounder who has been beset by injury in recent years, has been included as a utility.
He play 10 games for Counties in 2014 and 2015. Anyone know where he played and how he went?

Jared Page is the future of Counties Manukau rugby, Steelers coach Tana Umaga says.
The fullback, who plays club rugby for Pukekohe, was the star of the Steelers' first Ranfurly Shield defence of the year, scoring 33 points, including three tries, in the 68-0 rout of Thames Valley last week. Umaga praised Page's well-rounded performance.
''He is only a young kid and was born and bred here,'' Umaga said.
''He is our local talent. He has had a few injuries and he obviously has a lot of promise.''
The union has yet to sign Page to a contract, but Umaga hoped he could secure Page' before the larger unions tried to recruit him.
''He is someone who we are looking at and we believe he can be the future of our union and he is someone we want to bring through,'' Umaga said.

Why can't they print off a normal team list, in type that is big enough to read?
-
-
Waikato tighthead couldn't pull back that time.
-
Bloody great try by Roe.
-
Good try from Tupaea. Poor handling from Harbour.
-
16mins in and the NH forwards are struggling to get into position
-
Harbour needs to put the ball into the corners.
-
Forward pass oof
-
Wait, which ones forward?
-
I know the weather's good, but play 10 man rugby Harbour.
-
Nice on Samisoni. Right in front of the ref
-
Waikato backs too good.
-
McKenzie tearing the defence up. Should be Roe's third.
-
This is like watching the bad old days of Harbour.
-
Incredible watch
-
Didn't I say to use the forwards!
-
And grubber behind their midfield.
-
Josh Iosefa-Scott is on struggle street
-
That was soft from the Waikato forwards
-
@Duluth Once their AB backs are gone they will get owned. Weak tight five.
-
Good that Harbour has hit back, my interest was starting to fade, even jumped on to see how the Farrar Palmer cup was going , and that was cricket score..let’s hope for competitive 2nd half
-
Good to see the Waikato ABs looking a class above in the NPC. Not something you see from Ennor.
-
Handling errors 5 to 1 against Harbour. We need some new midfielders.
-
Roe picked out the wrong player to throw that to.
-
Backs to good. Weak effort from Gatland.
-
Harbour's backline defense has been shocking.
-
Good try Waikato , but how was Tuioti Mariner not taken in air at the lineout turnover .., similar penalty against Harbour in the first half , all you want is consistency from officials
-
Harbour have no midfield presence unfortunately
