God I wish I'd seen the responses to that. What a monumental arse clown. Isn't astonishing how these activist types often know sweet fa about the actual causes they are championing.

About those gangs that apparently don't exist:
I don't see what they hope to achieve by pretending this problem doesn't exist and screaming racism every time. Sure a small number of racist dickheads will try to make hay, but problems should be acknowledged and tackled not swept under the rug and allowed to fester.

Well this is a step forward. I’ve been quite impressed by Sajid Javid. From today’s Times:
I take scandal of Asian sex gangs personally, says Sajid Javid
Sajid Javid has said that he took the Rochdale sexual grooming scandal personally because it involved men from his home town who were from a Pakistani background like him.
The home secretary also defended the government’s decision to strip some members of the gang of their British citizenship, and said that his job was to keep the British public safe even if it meant offenders being sent to a country where they may face fewer checks.
Mr Javid said yesterday that he had been right to speak out about “sick Asian paedophiles”, and that ignoring their race would give a boost to right-wing extremists.
Mr Javid, 49, was born in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, one of a series of towns where gangs targeted young girls. Asked if that meant he took it more personally, Mr Javid told Today on BBC Radio 4: “Sometimes I have, yes. Especially with reference to Rochdale because it is my home town, I still go there now and again because I have family there that I care deeply about.
“When I heard about — and there has been more than one case — grooming gangs where almost every individual involved is of Pakistani heritage . . . I can’t help noting the fact that Rochdale is a town that means something to me and I am also of Pakistani heritage. But in terms of a response, what matters is, first of all, the law enforcement response, which rightly is completely independent of government ministers.”
Mr Javid was asked if he was concerned about the possible lack of control over paedophiles if they returned to Pakistan. “I’m the British home secretary,” he replied. “My job is to protect the British public and to do what I think is right to protect the British public.”
In August the Court of Appeal upheld a decision to strip three members of a Rochdale gang, who had dual British / Pakistani nationality, of their citizenship.
Abdul Aziz, Adil Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf were among nine men jailed in May 2012 after being found guilty of grooming and sexually exploiting young girls. In July Mr Javid ordered research into why men convicted of such crimes were disproportionately of Pakistani origin.
He said that establishing the “particular characteristics” of the perpetrators was “critical to our understanding” of offending in places including Rotherham, Telford and Newcastle. He made the commitment in a letter to Sarah Champion, the Labour MP for Rotherham who was criticised for stating that the country “has a problem with British Pakistani men raping and exploiting white girls”.
Her comments led to death threats and moves by hard-left and Muslim opponents to force her from her constituency.
Mr Javid also stressed the need to acknowledge the background of the gangs rather than ignore it. In October his tweet about “sick Asian paedophiles” in a Huddersfield gang attracted criticism. He told Today: “I’m very much aware of the need for politicians to be careful with language as well as what they do. When it comes to gang-based child exploitation it is self-evident to anyone who cares to look, that if you look at all the recent high-profile cases there is a high proportion of men that are of Pakistani heritage.”
He said “there could be — and I’m not saying there are — some cultural reasons from the community that those men came from that could lead to this type of behaviour. For me to rule something out just because it would be considered sensitive would be wrong.
“If I had ignored it, or been seen to ignore, that is exactly what I think extremists would like to see in this country. It would give them oxygen and I refuse to do that.”

@JC good on him for this response.
But just for a moment assume these statements were made by a white, middle-aged, Christian in the same position (removing the context of his background, ethnicity etc ...) ...
Point.

We don’t have to imagine. Labour MP Champion did exactly that and has been hounded ever since. The fact is in this heightened environment only people of that same ethnicity and background can get away with saying anything but almost nobody does. Lots of people have been saying for a while now that Muslims need to step up and take responsibility for their communities’ actions. I think it’s worth acknowledging when the most powerful Muslim in the country does exactly that.

Good words from Javid, sad that only he can bring this up. I won't be holding my breath as to the results of the research into why a particular community is grossly over-represented in this particular crime, they've made it abundantly clear that data that goes against a particular narrative is nothing but hate speech.
If anyone wants some important but terrifying reading have a look at the independent inquiry into the Rotherham cases..then have a look at the demographics of the town and run some basic calculations as to the percentage of the town's underaged girls that were raped and the percentage of males of a particular community doing the raping...and then figure in those rapes unreported and those perpetrators who got away.
I think this issue runs very deep and right through those in positions of power in the police as well as in politics, I hope Javid goes deep on this but even with all the protections of being the 'right' ethnicity and religion I doubt he'd be too keen to open that can of worms entirely.

It's nothing new. I regularly watched Swedish TV when I lived in Norway. The shit they aired would make TYT blush.

BBC seem to be following a similar script too both on this Morrocan murder and the Manchester stabbing.

"Mr Clack also said he heard the knifeman shouting "Allah" during the attack, along with a slogan criticising Western governments."
His motivation is indeed a mystery.

This will not end well.

What is the bet that the Germans get prosecuted and officials state that there is no problem? To be fair it is Cologne so this is pretty minimal compared to the 1,200 sexual assaults at New Years a couple years back..not that it would be reported on anyway.

I just finished reading 'Strange death of Europe' by Douglas Murray. It's taken me a good few weeks, its a hard read, not in the way its written (it flows beautifully) but in its content which got me waaaay too worked up from time to time.
Not something you can read before bed that is for damn sure but probably one of the most important books to come out in a long time. An absolute must read for anyone who gives a damn about what the future might hold in an age of political correctness and forced mass-migration from very ideologically opposed cultures.

So I’m blaming teachers, health professionals and the whole system which has failed this child who will live with FGM for the rest of her life.”
How about we blame the person found guilty in a court of law? I'm still amazed people try this nonsense of blaming the country and culture they've moved to that they weren't informed their stone-age practises aren't tolerated.
-
@antipodean yeah it is maddening aye. Everyone gets the blame aside from the person who did it!!

Bizarre really, did she expect those people to look at a little girls genitals? How else were they going to be aware her parents are barbarians?

This is absolutely outstanding. Lauren Southern's speech to the EU on her investigations into the trafficking situation in Europe and migration crisis. This girl has seriously matured. This doco is going to be pretty damn explosive
Listened to this all the while that silly little girl NZ has for a pm's words reverberating:
"I think you'll see from the reaction that they have had from New Zealanders that their views are not those that are shared by this country and I'm quite proud of that."
Fucken dimwitted fluffybunny
The EU invited her to speak and by god she made some sense. Finally some authentic information without pandering to an ideology.
I look forward to this doco as this is an issue (another one) where the false narrative is universally shoved down our throats with absolutely no exposure to the realities of the situation.
She has matured and seems a decent journo, pity NOBODY of worth in NZ wanted to hear her eh Jacinda?
Edit, there's a cool 10 minutes q&A at the end, including my favourite Imam Tawhidi, (Now there's a man with a life expectancy measured in hours!) and a lady explaining whose fault all this is.
Also Southern financed this doco investigation with private donations and will release it for free on borderless.com, if I remember correctly
