@Siam I think it was a mistake to go on tour with Stefan Molyneux. That guy is basically a right wing version of the radical left. I had to unfollow his twitter account as it just got stupid after a while (I try to follow people from across the political spectrum).

@No-Quarter only if you retroactively agree that their speech should be banned.
The principle that anyone can speak and people can choose to listen or not must remain despite the personnel. Great principles are uncomfortable at times.
This is a sterling example of a principle in action. Had me thinking about his summary for days. 13 minute mark exactly for a good articulation of principles
That said, I too didn't really get much from Molineux and it's impressive to see how she's developed her craft

@Siam oh yeah agree on that completely, and I chucked some $ towards the legal action taken against Goff at the time. My point was that it didn't help her reputation if she wants to be taken seriously.

This is absolutely outstanding. Lauren Southern's speech to the EU on her investigations into the trafficking situation in Europe and migration crisis. This girl has seriously matured. This doco is going to be pretty damn explosive
I think she was really going somewhere with what she was saying, but in my view she is often as guilty as those she is criticising. Her comments on the Somalian refugee getting deported and talking about compassion, is typical far-politics, of taking isolated situations, ignoring all context to come to totally inaccurate conclusions.
She didn't mention any of the following:
- He was kicking off massively on the plane, shouting obscenities, struggling violence - who wants to be on a plane with that?
- The passengers didn't know why he was being deported
- The fellow passengers didn't know he had been convicted of gang rape.
You can't go on about people having a messed up version of compassion when they knew none of the facts, and played the cards they had in front of them. There isn't a single person on this forum, who wouldn't have been happy to see the bloke get off the plane if they had been on it on their way to a holiday with their family.
Her overall thoughts are pretty good, but this example shouldn't be used as the poster-child of her position.

@MajorRage you sure this is an example of plane passengers behaving completely reasonably?
Can't agree that as a passenger I'd ever demand a passenger be removed so I could continue with my holiday . The rules about what goes on and who is in charge of a commercial flight are extremely straightforward. Suspect departure penalties would impel standard procedure more than my demands

Non sequitur. Molyneux's speech isn't banned by @No-Quarter 's actions.

Did the passengers demand he be removed because they were scared by his presence or because they believed his bs story? If it was because they had sympathy for him then they are, at best, stupidly naive, and at worst, obstructing the work of those doing their best to keep their communities safe.

@antipodean yeah I know. I misinterpreted written words. Was going to clear with him but liked it instead. He paid for the very thing I was promoting which was a signal that he is all over this issue
