The camera view from between the posts clearly showed Plummer knocking on, his second touch in that movement.
That the refs got distracted by Telea's falcon was pretty piss poor. The camera footage was clear
Ok sort of game so fat
Oh here come the Akira haters again
Am Akira fanboi
You had too much or you need more red mate?
Bones has captured your penchant for grammatical pedantry perfectly
Not a great spectacle but bloody good game so far with intensity and the blues looking dangerous and crusaders hanging on with experience but little flair. One of those games where individual mistakes stand out and execution must be spot on every time.
Good stuff so far fluffybunnies
Did something change in Melbourne quarantine?
Well the whole shagging thing with security guards and potential Coviders (is that a word?) probably wasn't a great way to contain it, or any other infectious diseases really, but who am I to judge?
(glances suspiciously at the missus...)
@dogmeat no doubt about it. I don’t for one minute underestimate that this had to be rolled out fast but there are checks and balances that are needed. Get police in to work in conjunction with the security whilst additional training is rolled out for example. Critical corners have been cut.
Did something change in Melbourne quarantine?
My experience with it in May was that it was very strict and very efficient. Support services were exemplary under the circumstances.
I am not against action and people informing themselves about this and parents, families and communities having a discussion and debate. But this is very disappointing and does nothing to educate or even ‘help the cause’. It’s irresponsible and a classic case of over reach.
I wonder how many know this about the cause?
"Black Lives Matter has a key goal internationally of defunding the police, the movement says on its U.S. website. "
Not saying all are culpable, but the rumour mill is sayig some are capable
One thing's for sure about this list, none of them will get in trouble.
Even if this broad sings like a canary and lays it all out with diagrams, every fluffybunny on that list is going to deny and deny ala Prince fuckface.
If a trial happens it'll drag for years and what's the best she's already been given a plea deal and they all double down on what a despicable, conniving yet charming monster Jeffery was.
We won't get our pedophilia pound of flesh.
And not one of them didn't know about Little St James' reputation before or after getting on his plane. Not saying they did anything but they all knew the stories, so that'll be their first lie.
It's so hard to gauge the feeling in America when we're really only subjected to the 8% noisey ones.
I suspect, like Britain, the quiet voter who never expresses an opinion online is the winning and losing of an election nowadays.
So as a party do you promote what you'll do in charge, or what they'll do in charge to the electorate?
Given the dearth of deep debate and the appetite for explaining rational policies, I think both parties will focus on the "look at them" approach for the next 4 months. That'll be depressing.
The winner won't be the best, but the least worst.
@Duluth yep, it's just effective politicking, not actual problem solving. Pointing out the failings of the opposition is fair game though, and always has been.
It's always hard to judge but if the republicans can focus on the behaviour and false rhetoric of the dems, then it somewhat resembles the last election in Britain, in my opinion. Will the people trust the left in charge like Britain didn't?
@Duluth that's a lot to draw on from a 3 letter word. Given the destruction and lawlessness that's dominated the landscape in the last month, it's not unreasonable to call these escalations and observations "new".
But that's quibbling because we're really referencing the speechwriter, not actually Donald.
In our schools, our newsrooms, even our corporate boardrooms, there is a new far-left fascism that demands absolute allegiance. If you do not speak its language, perform its rituals, recite its mantras, and follow its commandments, then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted, and punished. It’s not going to happen to us. (Applause.)
Make no mistake: this left-wing cultural revolution is designed to overthrow the American Revolution. In so doing, they would destroy the very civilization that rescued billions from poverty, disease, violence, and hunger, and that lifted humanity to new heights of achievement, discovery, and progress.
To make this possible, they are determined to tear down every statue, symbol, and memory of our national heritage.
Read it in Obama's voice and see if the content holds up.
If you have the time and inclination, this interview articulates that the major problem in America isn't trump.
It's way worse than him.
@Kiwiwomble no team in NZ super rugby history got decimated like the Landers last off season. That was always going to a 2 year plus rebuild and any wins with this roster was always a bonus I thought, in February.
What I mean is this season and next don't reeeaallly count mate
@Bones a bit harsh, they did a lot of tackling in the 2nd half. Looked more like fatigue than commitment.
Paradoxically I warmed more to my team in that scoreboard hiding game. Went into this one with that same forlorn hope you'd have when the blackcaps would play Aus in a onedayer 15 years ago. Not expecting a win at all.
Crusaders backs vs Landers? Fucking 2 levels down apart from the halfback so to be in it so long was good.
By fuck that Highlanders winger is going to be dead to me for a long time. That was the bit. That's what deflated the team most, Jesus Christ man, that one's going to cost a lot of hattricks.
Frizzell's cool. Nugget was great. Parkinson impresses. Whoever the forwards coach is, he's got them overperforming.
Good game for 70 minutes.
That "obviously offside" stipulation is great. Really get to see team's with space off rucks.
Crusaders are good. Best in the land (again) and lots of depth.
Good win crusaders, good game Landers
(Walden please, unless his water carriage is too good to ignore, of course)
Dem convention is 20th of August
I still suspect he won’t be the nominee. If I’m correct that will be stage managed. A Biden press conference with his wife, she talked him out of running for health reasons etc etc.. That would happen a week or so before the convention for maximum impact
Do you suspect he won't be the nominees because you think the Dems themselves believe is indeed in a state of serious decline and it will be too obvious to voters?
Or another reason?
Dems are talking about it. His own campaign is clearly limiting his unscripted moments
Rasmussen polls are dodgy as fuck but 20% of Dem voters said they think he has dementia. If the real number is half that, it’s still pretty bad
Maybe he is fine. The perception is what matters
Who do they replace him with? The reason they've largely ignored the primary results and gone with him is due to the (probably misguided) belief that he has the best chance against Trump.
I don’t think it matters who the Dems put up against Trump this time. Barring skullduggery at the ballot Trump is gone.
Your contempt for the US voting public is almost palpable huh?
@Rembrandt that way of thinking that endorses the State Attorney to move heaven and earth in a prosecution against the house owner's versus the idea that it was highly appropriate for the house owner's to act as they did, is going to be one hell of a collision.
Man, that's a fundamental piece of US existence the left is gambling with there.
Niall Ferguson observed that gun ownership predicts presidential elections far more accurately than polls
Lots of guns being bought in America right now.
I've heard people say that once the ball is held up its a free for all
Those people don't know what the fuck they're talking about. There's always an offside line for a maul in the field of play.
OFFSIDE AT A MAUL
Each team has an offside line that runs parallel to the goal line through the maul participants’ hindmost foot that is nearest to that team’s goal line. If that foot is on or behind the goal line, the offside line for that team is the goal line.
- A player must either join a maul from an onside position or retire behind their offside line immediately. Sanction: Penalty.
JOINING A MAUL
Players joining a maul must:
- Do so from an onside position.
- Bind on to the hindmost player in the maul.
I see that stipulation being ignored a lot in all games, particularly when the backs join an attacking maul
@Frank Coleman Hughes makes the point that with 330 million people, a 1 in a billion chance event happening to someone (e.g. lightening strike, getting kneeled to death like Tony Timpa in 2019 ) occurs to somebody nearly 3 times a week. Add in the high chance of that incredibly rare event being captured on a smart phone and all of a sudden we're reacting to lightening strikes and lotto wins like they're everyday occurrences that most people will soon experience... unless we change everything right now!
Our perceptions are so easy to manipulate in these modern times
its really weird , its not just richmond also West Coast , Collingwood ,
Right there you have 3 of the big favorites pre season, playing horrible , looking like they dont want to be there
Is that third on the ladder Collingwood? Don't lump everyone in on your shit
Could ( should?) have been worse.
Landers showing quite a lot when they're not making elementary errors. Far better than I thought they'd be given the personnel.
8 and 6 continue to impress. Ioane back soon please.
Gave the ladder leaders a real fright and a glance of the recent past malaise after halftime, then that northlander dropped his 30th and last high ball and the momentum shifted, again.
Good game, saw some good loosies from both teams.
Fair dues blues - a draw may have spun an accurate narrative, or if a pro footballer could kick one from in front
@Rembrandt he's had spicier takes than this, but this is from just a few days ago.
Yes because executing people that criticise Islam really is something to be admired.
I can't put an interpretation of one tweet ahead of hours of listening to him speak. There is no way zuby supports executing critics in any way.
