@Nepia On a 6 week tour with players from 4 nations i'd think it would have a huge impact on team culture and team building.

I don't think that, if a team can't bond without players sharing a room then they've clearly got other issues.

No thread for Match III, but SA beat France convincingly 35-12

France never looked like scoring a try.

SA looked great. Tough, quick and inventive.

Seems to be a genuine happy team spirit with everyone in the squad.

Thoroughly deserved the 3-0 series whitewash.

On form, it's probably fair enough to bring him in as 15 cover, but please, please, no time at 10.

its interesting because the scores here are pretty close to what I was thinking ,

us by about 2 tries , close most of the game , we get away near the end

    30 - 18

@Tim said in BIL & AB teams for Test #1 (AKA - who's impressing you at the moment?):

I hope that Cruden doesn't get on the field. Our play really deteriorated last year when he came on at 1st 5 and Barrett moved to the back.

    I agree with that.

@Salacious-Crumb why wouldn't he they have beaten the Bok and just ask Ireland about beating the AB's.

Go well Mr Ronchi. Ended up being a great servant of NZ cricket, and it was always obvious he was a team first man which was central to the team ethos. Part of his game that was not talked about much was his glovework - always very tidy and reliable.

If not for the rain he would have contributed to a great win against Aus before bowing out, which is a shame.

The 170 goes down in NZ cricket folklore, that was an incridble innings.

Haven't watched this in years and ... holy shit it is brutal. A lot of high tackles go unmentioned. Late shoulder charge to the head (resulting in a knockout) is a penalty only. No concussion tests here!

Great to see NSW winning. I was such a huge fan of them when I was a kid. Fuck the banana benders.

He he. Fuck the Mexican Cockroaches.

A lot is being said about our backs, but if you think back to some of the previous tournaments, our set piece lineout and scrum has always had a question mark next to it.

This years team apart from some early issues negating lineout drives in the main I thought were very solid, would love to see some stats in and around scrum and lineout, the first 3 x scrums including a tighthead set the tone in the final.

Still shaking my head how the South African no 8 Juarno Augustus, with the greatest respect having not seen many of the junior boks games won the player of the tournament.

Yep, I'm totally convinced that this 'player of the tournament' election results in the best player being elected. 🙄 Who on earth lets followers of a FB page decide? Should have asked a group of rugby experts (from various national backgrounds) instead. Now, it is just who comes from a country with the biggest population and only one nominee. Votes between the two English and between the two NZ nominees were always going to be split. And then probably the best player (Aumua) wasn't even nominated! Ah, well, it's that Cup and gold medals that count anyway.

I've never trusted them, especially since 2011 when Kaino didn't win the player of the year award because they favoured Dusatior on one game when his team lost.

Sounds like Francis was good in the first half but made a critical error in the 2nd. No surprises there ...

    LOL'd at this:

    http://www.punditarena.com/rugby/english-rugby/pwassell/england-player-ratings-v-argentina-2/

A really positive first half with the inside centre combining well with Mike Brown for his score and showing some deft hands, but his second half kick cost his side a soft score and could well have swung the match. Time spent in the ultra-competitive Premiership with Northampton will improve his composure.
