So... a Bernie -supporting psychopath who loves the Rachel Maddow show and identifies with The Resistance has been incited to target and shoot Republicans at a softball game. It's been inevitable and a long-time coming, as establishment idiots have been winking to sociopaths for a year that violence against conservatives is acceptable. Operation Vakyrie against Orange Adolf. Sanders and Maddow and cohort will undoubtedly call it the actions of a single nut who in n respect should be representative of liberals as a ghroup, and that is true. But ifv same had happened where an Obama-hater was shooting at libs, you'd better believe they'd be blaming Roger Stone.

To his adversaries, sacking Comey made Trump look like he was hiding something.
That's why we sentence at the end of a trial after evidence has been shown, not sentenced befrore ANY evidence has even been discovered. The latter is the Stalinist show trial - show me the man, I'll build you a case. Sadly most Dems prefer Stalin.
I am starting to think we would have had the same sort of propaganda war if Cruz, Bush or Rubio had won.
Yes, but not anywhere remotely close to the abuse seeing now. Bush, Rubio and to a lesser extent Cruz are all establishment toadies. And make no mistake, the #Resistance is a propaganda war cooked-up by the #Establishment (Dems, globalists, neocons, Military-industrial-complex, deep state).
"The 80s called, they want their foreign policy back."
Romney took heaps of abuse for that. His Dem opponents believed themselves especially superior in their mockery for that one.

"Part of the problem ... is nobody wants to hurt each other anymore."
"I'll beat the crap out of you."
"The audience hit back. That's what we need a little bit more of."
"In the good old days this doesn't happen because they used to treat them very, very rough."
"Try not to hurt him. If you do, I'll defend you in court, don't worry about it."
"I'd like to punch him in the face."
"Maybe he should have been roughed up."
"I don’t know if I’ll do the fighting myself or if other people will."Not exactly what I would call winking.

Rand tells a gripping scary eye-witness story.

It's being reported that the Special Counsel has now broadened its investigation to include whether Trump obstructed justice.
It'll be fascinating to see how this proceeds. Will we see Trump dial down his Twitter rants? Or will he do the ol Trump counter punch?
If the investigation continues, it seems highly likely that Trump will be required to give sworn testimony which I assume will lead to questions around financial dealings with Russia and therefore tax returns. All that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Trump still tries to fire Mueller.

I think the point might be that if you, as a member of the government, encourage people to have guns with the purpose of using them against the government, don't be surprised when they use them against you.
'Tyrannical'* is a subjective and individual decision, which some loser wackos can interpret to mean they can shoot innocent lawmakers.
That's fucked up, but their system allows wackos to get guns and these guys have never been interested in doing anything about it.
To paraphrase Jeffries, it's a bit hard to protect yourself and shoot back when you're trying to steal second.
*exercising power in a cruel or arbitrary way.
E.g., "a tyrannical government" -

Not sure you understand the meaning of "tyrannical".What I understand is irrelevant because Im not a gun toting American patriot.
Hodgkinson obviously felt otherwise and decided he needed to do something about it.
FWIW, I'm not justifying Hodgkinsons actions but it will be interesting to see how Rand Paul feels about his 2A comments now. -
Nice fake news compilation on Donald J. Trump. and others.

Can someone point ot 15 celebrities envisioning violence against Obama or the Democrats?
Cheers.No. But I've never bothered to listen to what 15 celebrities said about anything except sports. I'm surprised anyone on here does.

@JC Unfortunately, a lot of people do listen to them. Sad.
Stop then. Nobody is making you wind yourself up with this drivel.
Honestly, the degeneration of this thread gives me the shits. I'm very interested in policy and especially economics in the US, but the nonsense on here about personalities, cucks, and the alt-right, the endless pathetic memes and the posting of links to fringe sites populated by feeble minds has made it pretty much unreadable.

Some of those are pretty funny actually. I am sure ALOT could go the other way as well though.

Anyway, to raise the tone of this thread a little: I went along to a forum with former US Director of National Intelligence, James R. Clapper a couple of nights ago. Just briefly on the Russian hacking issue; Obama instructed them to make a public version of the intelligence report, made available 6 Jan. Clapper believes that the interference from Russia had an impact but is unable to determine what that was empirically. There is no evidence of a voter tally impact and the reason Trump was initially disparaging was, he perceived it as a slight on the legitimacy of his election.
Trump has subsequently made considerable efforts to repair that relationship.
Why Russia made more efforts to undermine the Democrat cause was as Trump is a businessman, they (Russia) believe he is more likely to negotiate. And Putin despises the Clintons.
