Great half by the boys, Lions very lucky to only be 6 behind. One converted try and they in front which doesn't reflect the run of play. Jordie sure looks comfortable under high ball.

Surely the touche can see the Lions creeping in the lineout. It's diabolical.

Is it just me being a 'canes support and all, but do Hanson's big calls in bringing back Jules, and starting Laumape and Jordie seem like pretty good calls at half time?

He needs to be penalised early, set the tone. Hopefully Read mentions it.

Six point margin doesn't make me feel very comfortable. They scored two great tries, but butchered three more with sloppy handling. Obviously trying to play at pace and risking it with flat, pat-a-cake passing, but it doesn't leave a lot of room for error. Glad to see the ref ping the Lions for offside after that lineout on our line just before half time. But they've been getting away with that all series. Our forwards are doing more than enough to win us the game. Just need the backs to show a little more patience.

Why kick it away after the hooter?

Didn't Jordie just slot that drop goal?

Should be more than 6 but this feels more like the abs. Hurricane connection having blinders.

Fuck I do not want to lose to these cnuts.

It really fucks me off that the ref and assistants won't actually do anything about the Lions at line out time. They're consistently walking across, and closing the gap, plus of course the shouting. Why do scrims get reffed so strictly but line outs don't?

Intense half of footy that. ABs trying to play at a million miles an hour which is leading to errors from both sides.

As @ACT-Crusader said we are playing flat on attack which is high risk but it's also getting us over the gain line and creating a heap of opportunities.

We still have 15 on the field which means the wrecking balls and Ardie can come on and ramp up the intensity in the final 20.

    Bring on the 2nd 40!

Can't wait for Super Rugby and TRC to kick back off the cynical play from both teams the refs are encouraging us stifiling any flow to the game.

Both teams turned up to play ☑
The best ref so far ☑
Better team ahead at the half ☑
BIL very lucky to be still in this ☑
BIL blown chances which may have made the ABs think ☑

    Amazing game.

The Canes guys have been carving.

The two rookies in the backs all class.

All Blacks butchering tries Lions looking likely.

This 2nd half is gonna be nuts.

Also, AB's need to watch penalties, cos Farrell is a far better goalkicker than BB.
