@mikethesnow Hmmm, they had to make some last minute replacements though. Aki, Piutau and McGinty suddenly unavailable.

And a fitting end to a great performance and Vito goes over

    Lobbe with the conversion

    England 45 - 63 Barbarians

    And that's a wrap.

Awesome to see Fernandez Lobbe come back on to kick the final conversion! Entertaining game.

Regardless of what stage of the season and which 23 you field, conceding 63 points has to be a very low point for England.

Jones got a lot of work to do this Summer.

Haven't seen an announcement yet about Barbarians' games in November. I assume they'll play either SA of Oz, and maybe a game against one of the PI teams and/or a tier 2/3 team.

Picking out of form / past it players doesn't help.

    Robshaw off the pace badly.

And Hartley can fuck off too.

If it wasn't for those three early tries we would have won.

With the horseshit spouted by the English commentators, Eddie, Hartley and Daly is Alistair Campbell on board with England?

Don't want to be the grammar police Eddie, but please replace 'The Barbarians were a very experienced team' with the 'scratch Barbarians team playing their first game together had a lot of experience '

Thought Ashton had a decent game, pretty much screaming "pick me, pick me" to Eddie, Brown was pretty anonymous

Record points in 108 Years of Twicks against England! Humiliator!

Really is going to be a spastic fight down in SA.

I thought they got pumped last year? I just haven't seen much of them this year to compare

Will be interesting to see how the European based players slot in to the group as a whole, given SA fisheads seem to be desperately trying to squash Kilauea-type proportion of race issues which appear lava-like in their ability to de-rail.
Particularly looking forward to see how Frans Steyn, Vermeulen and Bismarck du Plessis go.

What annoyed me about the game was the incessant fanboi-isms of the dreary comms team - ohhhh look at Radradra, how he can offload, what a fantastic play, blah farkin blah....
Do they not watch any rugby on telly in England? If they watched any SR, or French Top 14 they would note offloads, carries, tackles, and - yes - defence - of this calibre and quality throughout the comps. Just really fuckin irritating we have to put up with this shit. You would think all Eddie has to do is draft in a load of Fijians - and presto, all England woes are automatically fixed.
