Wednesday: 10 laps plus 15 dips, 15 leg raises, 10 pullups x 5.
Thursday: Chest and biceps. Great session this one.
Friday: Hurting a bit after Thursday so a bit lighter on the back, with some good triceps training.
-
Weekend was a bit slack. Active, but had long walk instead of run on Sunday. Have a Sony Xperia and can't get a farking case for it. Stoopid.
Made up for it with row plus push ups and 4km run this morning then good leg session.

Tuesday: shoulders. Very nice.
Wednesday: Too drained for cardio day because of other stuff. Didn't care.
Thursday: Chest and biceps. Normally this is my favourite day but had to go at lunch and encountered an appalling character who I was hoping to never see again. This is one of those guys who is often at the gym but doesn't train or eat properly and spends most of his time talking to everyone. The added bonus is that he's a disgusting antisemite and racist (a genuine racist who should be exhibited to SJWs as an example of what a racist actually is). Apparently the Jews are responsible for feminism and the blacks are all monkeys. Hadn't seen the fucker for ages but somehow he knew about my wife. He's 50 and married to a 25 year old Filipino (he's one of those racists) and told me that she had a friend who was great at cooking and cleaning and good at sucking cock. Considering this guy is a nutter and I didn't want trouble I politely told him that I didn't need his help but then he proceeded to crap on about his wife's tight pussy. Fucking degenerate. There were females around us as well while he was talking. So a very unpleasant experience all round. -
@rancid-schnitzel jaysus, what an awful human being. Good luck dodging that fucker in the future!

The sick bastard trains at about 11:30 so just know to avoid him then. Thank christ he's not there at my usual time. I'd probably report him. He's straight out repulsive.

I second that.
However I'd like to meet the wife.

@catogrande and her friend!!

Went at usual time and degenerate was thankfully absent. My skin crawls just thinking of him.
Back and tris. Very nice.

Saturday: Normally don't train on Saturday mornings but was meeting a woman who is just starting one of those 8 week challenges so felt the need to impress her.
So did the oval run with pullups etc. Was farking cold actually, even for Brisbane. Had to keep jumper on and hands were going numb until I started the pullups. Very good.
Date went well, although not sure if there's anything long term there. I just really want to see the body after 8 weeks 🤤. It's farking hardcore. Training most days plus 1200 calories for the chicks.
But no more Tinder updates. I'm off that now. Too much of a distraction and was getting beyond a joke. But I'm definitely a fan. Swipe right from me.

Monday: Legs. Not too bad.
Tuesday: Shoulders. Nice. Farking cold this morning. Felt bad about kids doing swimming, but eldest deserves a bit of pain right now. Damn teenager is doing my head in. -
@rancid-schnitzel I think the teenager thing is a common complaint. Sounds like you guys have a really good relationship, even if current sitrep sees the comms getting a bit muddled 😁
Its hard to think back to teenage times as you can't unwind the brain and exp dev, or crank the libido up 1000 fold ha ha.
Nigel lata (current nz TV quack) had a really good tip on acknowledging the emotional side of the situation and your teen's feelings. Then following up with the advice/question/suggestion. Said clearing the emo side opens them up to the cognitive or thinking headspace. Which is generally when the rationale (ish!!) Side of things kicks in.
Also a huge fan of... you can't generally change how something makes you feel. But you do have control of how you react. Expect someone has expressed that far more eloquently tho!

Cheers mate. My problem isn't really the whole teenager thing. I get the whole hormone imbalance/body changing/mongo thing but the problem with him is that he doesn't concentrate or do anything. I think I've mentioned that he's like a sloth on valium with a mind like a gold fish. He can be as moody as much as he likes as long as he does his core tasks, e.g. getting out of the house on time, doing homework, being even a little bit organised. It's incredibly frustrating and I'm very afraid he'll develop bad habits now that he won't be able to change down the line. As I write this I find out he forgot to bring his ipad today despite being told to have bag packed the night before.
Love him to bits but farkkkkk.

Pretty good week training wise.
I'm doing other "exercise" that I haven't done for ages and am farking starving all the time. I presume this must be a legitimate form of cardio? I wonder if PTs actually factor it in to their calculations.
At any rate, training and exercise have been very good to me and I'm so glad I jumped on that wagon years back. Don't like to think what would have happened to me if I hadn't...

@rancid-schnitzel A bit short on details mate. Probably just as well. Good on ya!

I identify as a bathroom mirror. I am offended.
Yup live in spring hill and have a clinic there.
It might not be grinder but judging by the man love that gets thrown at some of the players on here (shit ones) the standards aren't too high here either.
