You'll be able to substitute Br+%$#n T%&#%t to that sentence in a few years, while everyone who uses firearms will be jumping through more hoops and no doubt there will be more security fucking up normal people's lives when they visit churches or mosques or sporting events of whatever.
I really want them to carefully see whether the procedures were followed correctly for this guy before jumping up and down about changing our laws (although I don't have a problem with restricting semi-autos as they are a grey area and needed changing anyway). Two people wrote references for that guy; he was supposedly interviewed by the cops: and I wonder if he was even googled...
I would have thought that a background passport check showing visits to Pakistan, Afghanistan and especially North Korea should have raised a few eyebrows.
There is no grey area about semi-autos, they have no place outside armed forces/the police. The guy takes a bulk standard rifle into the mosque, he maybe kills 3 or 4 people. A semi-auto and it's 49.
I want them checking procedures too, but they can immediately ban semi-autos.

Sorry, either you've misread my post or I haven't written it clearly enough - I wrote I have no problem with restricting semi-autos as the law is a grey area that needs fixing.

Yeah sorry I misread it.

Yesterday I went to twitter almost immediately after I had heard what had happened. Mainly because there was very little info and I was hoping hear what was happening from people within chch. There was already one tweet from a 20 something leftist idiot. They identified as non binary so I can’t elaborate there...but they immediately blamed Trump and oddly they decided it was a good time to post a picture of the 2 visiting Canadian spaz’s that mocked Maori culture at the airport terminal. Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux.
The quick draw to politicise this tragedy has been sickening to me. So many people across the world have been saddened by what has happened but so many more have used it as a # to get their own agenda across. No, I’m not surprised. But the lack of shock doesn’t mute my disappointment.
I loathe Trump. But he did not pull the trigger. I’m not a fan of the Canadian speakers either but they didn’t go out, obtain a gun license, quickly accumulate arms and then calmly work around a room or rooms where people quietly kneeled in introspective prayer. Shooting them like they were in a video game. I wish to fuck I hadn’t seen that video.
I called out the chick on Twitter, sorry, non binary person, and said “today is not a day for politics. There will plenty of time for that”
2 hours later I got this back, and I quote “Fuck off you racist fluffybunny. Fuck you and all your people”
Just wow. The tweet was deleted shortly after that.

I know this isn't really the place or time for this, but how does one fuck an Anteater?

Just the World we live in pal. Sad but true.
One common theme of these dickfucks is they more often than not respond to a perfectly rational statement or comment with unbridled hatred if you don't agree with them 100%....

@Virgil yeah my uncle was complaining that oz was getting more info. Till he worked out there would have been a number of strong rationale for that.
Fuck, no chance of waking up and it being a nightmare. Have been so impressed with the police, health care team, the PM and cricket NZ. White is talking with Devlin on radio sport at the moment.

Feel really sorry for the Bangles cricket team, if it wasn’t for a late running press conference they would have been inside when the shooting began. They saw the victims they only just missed the attack

Apologies in advance, there’s too much info to sift through, but how-and-where was the psychopath apprehended? Did he expire all his ammo and surrender??

Details will all come out. there is a vid of them pulling him over and arresting him, I'm sure another ferner will share.

Stuff and the Herald both have videos of someone being dragged from a vehicle that appears to have been rammed by a cop car, it's front wheel still spinning, and "detained". May have been accidentally bumped by a cop's weapon (which may explain an apparent cut around his face reported following a court appearance).

Thanks, I visited Stuff and saw it. Nerves of steel on the cops. If it was me I would have assumed there was a good chance he was armed and ready to fire.
I saw another video interview there with a neighbour who said there were four people in that car earlier, presumably the other three suspects. Do we know anything about them yet?
