@mariner4life was a no brainer, we spent so much time watching her turn into this assassin ninja, she had to kill someone major...I just thought it'd be Cersei given what Arya had to witness at her hand...and could well stil be I guess.

@Catogrande dont think he wants to go there again...oh you mean kill her, possibly, so many candidates really
The prophecy says that Cersei will die at the hands of her brother so she thinks it's Tyrion....which means it will be Jamie. Or Ayra jumps out of left-field and goes up 2-0.
How about Ayra wearing Jamie's face? So the girl gets to kill the queen like she said she would.
I know nothing about the books and only got into GOT around the end of series three I think so maybe missing something here but isn't she waaaaaaaaay too short to pull that off, despite being able to wear the face?
-
@Hooroo when she was wearing the face of a serving girl in the Frey castle she was taller. But it hasn't been confirmed that wearing someones face gives her that persons build, or at least as far as we've seen. lol she'd make for a pretty small mountain.

It's magic, don't think so hard.

@Machpants a secret tunnel out of Winterfell to the Woods, expect they woulda had one or two?
Bran needs to step his shit up, lamest character ever, just sits there without emotion or anything...or did he the 3 eyed raven tell him Arya was about to fuck shit up for the NK?

Where the fuck did she come from tho?She must got hold of the last few season's long range teleporting device and short ranged it! Then again she probably played there as a kid and knew all the sneaky ways.
Her stealth had been alluded to a few times in the lead up episodes, I'd be guessing it would be some sort of passage out to the godswood where she could climb a tree branch and hide herself up in the tree till the opportune moment.

Also, how fucking tense was that episode? Action aplenty, but there was times i was fucking stressed. The Library with Arya was awesome.
Then, as shit got worse and worse, i got more and more wound up. Jon's the hero, the hero needs to save everyone, but he's trapped because he needs to get past a goddam undead dragon! Fuck, just run fluffybunny! Come on!! the clock is ticking!
Fuck that was some good film making.

Man lots of people complaining about the lighting. I didn't have any issues at all? I always watch it in the dark though, must have been worse during the day.
Perhaps they should correctly adjust their TV...

I was literally shaking for the first part of the episode
Had no idea how it would play out, the timing and structure I thought were perfectly executed at the start.
Plus will we ever see dragons on tv or film in such a fucking way again? Seeing Drogon shaking off the wights as they climbed all over him.
The books will never be beaten for depth and story telling but you won’t outdo the visuals that the tv show has pulled off.
Never be a tv show like this again.. well hopefully the prequel series will live up to this -
@Machpants said in GOT - there will be spoilers:
@Rembrandt Yeah obviously all the Night Knights senses are shit compared to the Night King's, cos he heard her leaping like a leopard!
He felt the wind blow his hair, so she was using some sort of magic at a guess.

I enjoyed that episode more than any other in this entire series. The only character I'm emotionally invested in was awesome, but then I'm not the only person who likes Arya the most. The rest can all die as far as I'm concerned. Whoever ends up on the throne is of intellectual curiosity to me. Although I'm hoping it's not Dany.
The battle cinematography was by and large brilliant. Not sure why you'd have your catapults in front of the cannon fodder, but whatever. Good to see the cavalry get slaughtered. Useless poncy pricks. Tremendous discipline from the unsullied.
The inside scene with Arya was probably the highlight. Magnificently shot and really felt like the suffocating fear of being surrounded and fleeing.

@Kirwan Haha your answer to everything - magic
Seems a reasonable response when you've got dragons...
-
@antipodean undead...shape changers...light up 10,000 swords with fire with a few words
-
Anyone else think hot oil/tar aka medieval castle style defence would have been a good option? Pour it all over them and set it on fire. Also anyone think Greyworm was a bit of a prick sacrificing all the unsullied by closing the gate but not joining them? Too much pussy clouded his brain me thinks.
Also in regards to Arya does she have to kill the person before wearing the face or can she use anyones? Might make wearing Jamies face a little difficult if she has to kill him first.
