@MN5 Yup pretty useless when she had 3 or 2, bring her down to one and she smokes everyone. It's all very lazy, but hey, that's all we can expect sadly
Ok we get it you dont like the series anymore, but you this latest criticism just shows you are watching the series at a very facile level, her descent into madness has been handled really well and signaled brilliantly. The rest of the series has so much to criticise, but I think now you are just trying to hard to be negative now.

It irks me so much how easily the one last week bit the dust considering the carnage it’s brother/sister or whatever caused in the latest episode.
The biggest tinarse shot since Ramsay shot one of the Starks from miles away with his bow and arrow.

Greyworm was on a "nah fuck these guys" revenge mission too.
What's the point of killing her off now? Crazy bitch has fucked everything royally up. And she has a dragon that's going be irked if mum gets offed.
And she's backed by a big and quite effective army, who are loyal as shit.

Speaking of revenge if the Hound was so hell bent on it why didn't he have a go at his big bro when they met face to face last season ?
In any case that fight was probably the most epic duel the show has seen in my opinion.

I'm wondering if she'll be sitting on the throne, all smug and powerful, everyone around her either dead or totally dominated.
Then the Iron Bank turn up with the combined crowns debt. That'd be bitter sweet
Yeah. The smug fucker from the bank will have hedged his debts. Don’t forget the money Cersei used was stolen from Dorne and the bank know that.
Gonna cost heaps to rebuild KL. May as well write that off as collateral.I get the idea of Jon kills Dani, but that can’t end things (without another leap of faith from the viewers). Not while there is a dragon, Dothraki and unsullied around.

I thought it was a good episode, but, there's always a but, I found two things a bit strange, one obviously was how good the dragon was this week - for most of the early part of that scene I thought there were two dragons and that crazy lady's dragon was drawing the fire of the scorpions while Jon Snows dragon was doing the clearing out, but it was just the one. Secondly, I know Missandei was killed last week and that would send anyone not gay off the deep end, but the Unsullied are this uber disciplined force yet Grey Worm goes completely out of character and they start massacring the city and then the northern soldiers join in despite Jon trying to stop them.
I don't have an issue with her turning crazy, it's been hinted at enough.
I'm actually a lot more interested in the final episode now than I was previously. I have no idea what they'll do but here's my prediction: Sansa to win the GoT after John heroically protects her/takes out crazy lady (or Arya takes her out).

@Machpants where in Kings Landing is the throne...destroyed under some rubble somewhere?
Crazy episode.
-
I enjoyed it but just like endgame people's strengths vary depending on the plot. Euron could hit the left tit of a blow fly with his Scorpion last week. This week can't hit a dragon with loads of the bloody things. Why did she wait to destroy the iron fleet. She could have done that last week and saved her fleet and her pal.
We had a whole bunch of things hinting that dragons are not the be all and end all of war fare. Except this week they totally are unstoppable. Why even bother with the ground army.
Anyway John to kill Danny his true love or some shit not that you'd know it from his acting.
-
@Nepia Grey Worm loved her the most, his reaction made complete sense. His queen was still attacking and he wanted them to pay for her death.
The episode would have been better if Drogon (which is the biggest dragon) had destroyed the fleet last week. That way they kill the dragon with a surprise shot, but lose the fleet.
The way they did it this week she’s learned to fly high and low to screw up their aiming, but it was too black and white. I would have also killed Euron last week.

Plenty of epic moments, Clegane Bowl (revel of The Mountains face had a Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker at the end of Episode VI feel to it)
Dany laying waste to Kings Landing, we all saw it coming but it was brutal, so brutal.
Guess we can blame Missandei for that?? -

It's in the red keep, which is not totally destroyed, I think. I guess it'll be roofless, like her vision
Yup the great hall is at the bottom of the Red keep, least it seems that vision of Danys from season 2 will pay off

So now that everyone has seen it ( or can stay away from this thread, it's not that fucken hard )
How epic was all of that ?
I never thought I'd end up feeling sorry for Varys. Harsh from Dany. Not harsh, he was a traitor, but he was also right!
Some poignant moments from the Lannister brothers. Yeah, sadly Tyrion's been a bloody moron for a while, but at least he's not a monster
Plot armour saved Euron Greyjoy brilliantly on the Dragons first charge. Meh on that, his battle with Jamie pointless, in fact he's been a pathetic cut down Jack Sparrow throughout.
How many innocent people died due to Danys rampage ? by christ she's an absolute bitch. I was expecting the Mad Queen, but not so mad! Her arc is great, all that build up, and she just turns out to be the worst Targyrion. She also, finally, worked out how to use a dragon - pity it was mostly against a few hundred thousand innocents!
I ended up feeling a bit sorry for Cercei whilst developing hatred for Dany. Nah Cersei got a better death than she deserved, with Jamie. I feel sorry for Brienne
Hound vs Ser Gregor ? fucken outstanding fight, I like how the latter dispatched the advisor ( name escapes me ) so ruthlessly. RIP Hound. You were the man. Best bit was the Maester getting squished, but also Hound just letting Cersei go - doesn't give a fcuk
Jaime Lannister vs Greyjoy was so convenient and contrived but fuck man, make sure the prick is dead ! yeah wasted fight and character - the book Euron is sooooo cool
So much to tidy up next week.........
Yeah where do they start? Really Arya to gank Dany? Dany + Dragon vs the rest of the 7 kingdoms? Or she takes the rulership and the wheel is well and truly not broken? Maybe she'll have a guilt trip and top herself!?
That's what I'm thinking. Leaving JS, Sansa, Arya and the cripple to rule

well given all the destruction down where Jamie and Cersei were, there would be little of much left anywhere.
Last week Euron was able to reload his x-bows much quicker than this week, and this week, if anything was more realistic of how much harder it should have been for the Iron Fleet to take down a dragon.
I guess you could say thier tactics were better this week, distract with the army at the gates while lay waste to the fleet in the Bay....but otherwise, if you go t a dragon, you the boss!
Was good to see the Hound get his revenge...
What is Bronn gonna do, no where to be seen last night, so will no doubt be somewhere next week?
So the old baby dragon theories didnt eventuate...in fact, quite alot of fan theories havent eventuated.

I personally reckon Bronn and Tyrion will say ‘fuck it’ and share a couple of jars together, Castle or no Castle

Wondering if Tyrion might be the character to finish Dany. He got Varys killed after sharing the secret (which went out via crow mail), freed Jamie - although its unclear if Dany knows about that I think. That was the bit that confused me, were the bells ringing a general sign of surrender, or only about Cersei giving up the throne after Jamie reached her? If it were the latter then they'd know that Tyrion helped Jamie escape.
Anyways that'd be an interesting arc to both their stories and sign off on the Lannisters, leaving the Starks to rule.
Jon fucking Snow aye, it only he'd kept his mouth shut and his fly open!!
But aside from some very minor quibbles what an episode!!
