Anthony Mundine has said some pretty choice things about gay people. Can't recall there being calls for boycotts against his sponsors or broadcasters showing his fights. Can't recall any demands on stadium or venue owners to not host his fights.
Are gay indigenous kids not as vulnerable as gay Poly kids or something? If an imbecile like Mundine can safely be ignored then why not Fullcow? It's all very selective isn't it. Just like Fullcow's religious views.

Religion makes people do any number of unnatural and abnormal things. It's not normal to suppress your normal sexual instincts and abstain until marriage (or priests and nuns forever - sometimes)
Tell that to your average page boy
Actually I'm sorry but I have to call that out. Your "average" page boy (I assume you mean altar boy)? So you reckon the average altar boy is being raped by priests? That's pretty fucked up mate.
Clearly my attempt at cheap humour triggered you. I apologise
All good. Its just that my uncle is a priest and I was an altar boy once. It's disgraceful what has occurred but those sick bastards are a tiny minority.
Haha yeah was about to say I thought I was a pretty average altar boy...

Yes but the difference is Mundine isn't on a team of any kind, nor working for an organisation.
If that was the case I'd wager he'd be fired long ago. Probably September 12th, 2001.
Did I mention anything about him being sacked by an employer? I was talking about platforms or sponsors being pressured to stay away from him. Can't recall Suncorp having any issue with him.

And if you want to see new religions with preachers giving apocalyptic âThe End Is Nighâ sermons and demanding repentance, sacrifice and obedience, go to an environmental demonstration some day, the cult is laid out right in front of you, and donât dare commit the heresy of blasphemy by questioning their orthodoxy, they can get quite violent defending their dogma against sinners.
Organised religion might be declining, but religiosity towards a growing range of topics never seems to...
Not sure if you're being serious but you're dead right here.
Traditionalist religion, (more so Christianity) might be on the decline in the west but people are just swapping one belief for another. I genuinely believe most people need something to believe in to deal with the day to day struggle of life the real question is do these new religions give the same sense of fulfillment as the old? Are they beneficial to society or are they destructive?
The largest genocides on earth occurred under a godless religion.

Fair enough. I was talking more about the ceremony and weird shit that goes with it.

Originally put this in the netball thread... but the Ferns don't deserve the angst ... so will put here ...
Anyway ... I wonder what those trolls who taunted Maria for missing the tying goal v Aus in pool play as karma are thinking ...
Without even thinking about the irony of using a religious belief to criticise someone else's religious belief ...

For those tragics interested in the restrictions employers can put on employees, commentary below.
I'm really not convinced the two cases are as similar as this fella makes out, but that's his opinion
-
Thereâs contrasting views on the adverse action/general protections provisions even within the High Court, so Fitzsimmons article is âinterestingâ but not really that insightful on how Folauâs case will play out.
I think the new restraint of trade elements to Folauâs case will be very interesting.

Izzy must think God is sadistic if he enjoys killing people and burning down their homes because two people gave each other consensual pleasure.

@canefan He is obviously not a student of history or he would have realised that fires and droughts were occurring in Australia long before they legalised same sex marriage and abortion. The ARFU might well have a legal out in that contracts can only be enforced and be legally binding if both parties are of sound mind (and over a certain age). Just wondering if that is the situation in this instance after this latest sermon?
