What constitutes a sport and why is it on telebision?

well, ESPN just had a segment of Stone Cold Steve Austin rating the beer chugging abilities of other pro athletes. Based on that alone, i am willing to cut them a huge amount of slack
and that's the bottom line

@mariner4life Certainly fits the entertainment definition.

also, Cornholing is a thing. It's professional. And it's on ESPN
And it's fucking great TV

@Snowy I imagine not only do they have 'athletes' in that there stone skipping competition, they will require judges, probably multiple ones to count the skips...therefore, competitors, judges, no different to half the olympic sports!

Flicking past ESPN and came across The Ocho, the 51st National Stone Skipping Competition.

Everything anyone wants to compete at that involves physical attributes is a sport, who gives a flip, let them play waht they want. The fact the Ocho exists, beyond being in Dodgeball, is proof there's interest. No skin off my nose that I had to sign off a kid to get colours for Rock n Roll dancing at WBHS!
