I'm getting no work done. As someone who has worked from home for the past three years, it really sucks not being able to escape these walls for a break. I'm actually giddy at the thought of going to the supermarket next week, even if I do have to wear a hazmet suit or some shit.
Next book release day is May 11, so I'm kind of hoping the worst is over by then. My main markets are USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Germany, so I'm keeping an eye on how things are going in those countries. But this month has sucked sales wise. Gonna be lean times ahead.
You might sell a few more kindle copies than hard copies.....

Looks like the call to close everything down was spot on. Community transmission ongoing, but not being tested for by the look of things.
What will be interesting is seeing how this starts to tail off in the next week or so. Social distancing started a week or so back, and really ramped up this week.

Hopefully the authorities are all over stamping out lock down dodgers

I wonder whether the panic buying at super markets and other stores just before the lockdown has resulted in any new community transmission cases.
-
@Stargazer yeah I mentioned that on Monday or Tuesday,, yu saw video and photos of all these people out panic buying, they were inadvertantly just giving the virus more hosts!

Without a doubt. I tried to go to the supermarket on Wednesday to get a bit more milk but gave it away when I saw it absolutely packed with queues going nearly to the back of the store. They were packed like sardines in there, coronavirus would have had a field day.

Same with me. Stopped by the local butcher, saw the queues and kept on going

I went to my local supermarket this morning to get some milk plus a few other supplies. I arrived about 30 mins after opening so there weren't any queues. All aisles now had markings on the floor in 2 m increments and there were lines to stand on in the checkout queue to keep that 2 m distance. I went through the self-checkout which is cleaned between users. I was impressed with the efforts they have taken.

I plan to go to my local in a day or two. Sounds like first thing is the way to go, and the closest one is also probably the quietest one in the area
