On another note, we were woken at 3am this morning by a commotion. According to the officer that came to our door afterwards, it would seem that they chased a lock down dodger from his car forcing him run on foot. He ended up in our yard where a number of officers and a dog got him. I particularly enjoyed the fact that they were not gentle in corralling him; he struggled so the dog latched on for some time before they dragged him off to the wagon. Nice to see the police playing hardball, it's the least these people deserve
Wtf.. when they say the war is just as much vs stupidity as it is the virus they really meant it.. our new neighbour is a police dog handle.. I’m hopefully we will see him in action nearby oneday..

Ms CF jr is a big dog squad TV show fan. This moron was perched on our roof and it all played out right at our window. Impressive that he climbed up though. Must have been a spider monkey

@Machpants my wife went yesterday and said there were a few couples there, mostly one sitting in the car, but a couple of instances where they selfishly went shopping together, which meant 2 people in the supermarket for 1 shop...
-
@taniwharugby unless there is a compelling reason (I'm struggling) then it has to be one person doing the shopping. I get that a non-driving person could be the shopper, but the driver stays in the car.

in our case, where a bunch of people who share accommodation but do not really know each other from adam, sharing a car when it's raining and each person is shopping on behalf of 2-3 others, it just makes sense. It's not really an option to walk to the supermarket in such cases, especially in the rain. And no, it's not possible to get stuff delivered - most residents here live from pension payment to pension payment, so buying for more than a week at a time is beyond their financial resources.

You are the exception mate. And I'd expect you would not look like a family unit when you enter the supermarket and spread out in different directions with separate trolleys

@SynicBast am finding that people are getting more and more judgemental about how people should shop and be in lockdown.
Facebook is an absolute shit show of opinions about people following the advice and going for neighbourhood walks.
Week four of this is going to really suck.

@canefan we stand in the queue as if we are from differenbt households, we split at the car and RV at the car, also I have my walking stick to make sure no fucker comes near me
Exactly. A little different from couples in there. I'm not sure it requires one person to steer the trolley while the other does the shop. But with only a dozen other shoppers inside after no queue outside I wasn't worried

Belarus is still open for business and the pres is advocating that vodka and a sauna is the cure for everything.
To be fair a shit load of vodka and a sauna is not a bad way to get through this thing.

I want people to follow the rules so we can get the fuck out of lock down ASAP. If dickwads keep spreading the virus then the government will keep extending this thing.
