So in an effort to fit in with you cool kids, I tried this tonight - was $10 or $12 for a 500ml bottle, can't remember exactly, but obviously lots.
I really enjoyed it.
Nothing even close to this level of awesomeness has ever come out of the Hutt.
Was forced to celebrate Level 2 with a couple of Hazys myself. God damn SENSATIONAL beer !

taking feedback on board (which is what we adults do) while picking up my carton for the weekend, i also grabbed a sixer of something new to try
Grabbed the Tuatara APA
It's not bad, and i would like it a fuck of a lot more if it wasn't only 3 months from its best before. Tastes like Little Creatures. And that's not a bad thing.

Coconut Porter
It's a nice combo for a cold evening supping ale.
I even used to make my own in small batches. Toasting coconut thread and steeping it in the brew.
The oils from the coconut can reduce the amount of head if you don't carbonate but it is really tasty. -

Tuatara do a great wheat beer and Pilsner. The others do better Pale Ales.
If any of us go blind there’s no mistaking a tuatara with one of the others, I’ll give them that.

I had a heap of them at a long lunch around a year ago and just found it at the supermarket yesterday. It'll be a regular purchase if I can find one that doesn't cost $10 for a 500ml bottle.

Had the first meal I haven't cooked for myself in eight weeks. Mainly so I could get a 1.8 litre jug of Panhead APA and annoy my brother by sending him photo's. He did the same to me before Singapore locked down. Payback tasted good, but not as good as a draught beer

This week's rando 4-pack
Revel Brewing Company IPA
7.5%Fuck this isn't bad. Hoppy, fruity taste (passionfruit?) Which I don't mind as I drink bucketloads of Tropical Ale.
Would definitely drink again, I bet it's amazing on tap. Will seek out next time I am in Brisbane.

I still bought a carton of Hop Thief to smash over the weekend

I spent up a bit late last month and got some NZ imports
Epic Hop Zombie - old school personal favourite
Epic Love - something new I had not tried - good but not great
Garage Project P.Weed - Old school personal fav
GP West Coast Ultra - something new to me - fucking awesome
GP Turbo Fuzz - New to me and it took some getting used to the heavy alcohol taste but I love it now.
GP Fresh April - Delicious and have Fresh May on the way
Behemoth(called Chur here) Drink For Yesterday VOL 3 - it was brewed in August and has 12 month bb but fresh must have been awesome as its still good after 9 months. -
@mariner4life get on to Panhead Supercharger from uncle Dan's. Better than Tuatara APA(bit of an OG beer now and there easily better NZ beers we can get in OZ now.
If you can get it try some Deek Creek. It's been turning up in Dan Murphys regularly. As has Good George in Squealer sized bottles.

love Panhead beers, but I'm suss on NZ imports as they are always getting on a bit unless you pick it up as soon as it comes in
Dans has been my go-to, but I've just cottoned on to how good the beer selection at First Choice is, and i have switched. Dans still better for wine though i reckon

@mariner4life yeah First Choice is my go-to but wasn't sure if they were up your way. I have started buying online for Garage Project as they now have an Australian website.

I tried Hop Zombie and Armageddon when they were first released, and later at a tasting with Luke Nicholas, but too hoppy for my tastes.

The big benefit to cans. Doesn't have the UV light issue like glass.

My Dan Murphy's is quite large and I'd estimate almost 70% of the footprint would be wine. Spirits would be larger than beer too.

I've finished the last 2 of those aforementioned beers
Dangerous
It tastes very good, has sessionability I reckon, as it's not heavy to drink. But at 7.5% kicks you in the head
