OK. The breakfast of kings. Admittedly likely to be a fat king before too long.
Slice of wholemeal toast
Smashed avo
3-4 rashers of smoked streaky bacon fried gently in a little olive oil and butter with a large pinch of muscavado sugar until it caramelizes
Lightly fried egg.Arrange in that order bottom up. Then eat.

We do that most Sundays but with a poached egg. I leave out the Avo as not a fav with warm food unless in a chicken burger which I wouldn't buy on purpose. So basically I have bacon and eggs and the misses has your version

Ahhh no, I skimmed read your post and missed that. All but that.
I'm being a bit naughty, as I still have some sausage curry from two nights ago. (last nights peking duck was an absolute failure, the only success of it was biffing it in the fire and it heating the room, but I digress)
Due to your post I am now frying off some sliced up bacon and once crispy, I will add the rest of the Sausage curry! GIDDY UP!!!

You English have such a sweet tooth eh!
Actually saw Ramsey doing that in a video about American breakfast. I highly doubt I'd like it but missus might so will give it a go. I have to make her smashed avo every other weekend.
Doesn't like guacamole though. Go figure.

I got the recipe from Ramsey and adapted it to something with less potatoes. That Seppo breakfast he did looked great and also an advert for angina.

It’s probably the only time I’ve added sugar to anything other than the odd pudding in years. I really don’t have a sweet tooth.
Thank fuck.

Mrs Mariner's birthday dinner
Our best mates over. A cheese board and carpaccio for starters. Two different curry for main
Beer, wine and espresso martini for drinks
And the problem is I now can't sleep
-
@mariner4life crank the bbq.

Quality. Brave starting with cheese ... it's all downhill from there.
At a mates for lunch yesterday 'for a curry'. Four curry, home made naan and beer later, didn't eat dinner, probably skipping breakfast. But totally worth it.
Also, saw a custard made with the steam wand from a coffee machine. Very impressive and simple, will definitely tackle it at home.

Must have been a good night going by the carnage I just cleaned up
And the fact I feel like hammered shit
