Garbrandt's punch yesterday was spectacular
4:59 in round 2. He takes a risk by crouching and throwing everything into one punch and lands it perfectly. It looks like a bullshit movie punch
Here's a gif someone posted on the sherdog forum
Same punch. Different angle. This shows the speed
O'Malleys perfectly timed punch with the casual walk away:
In other news some Irish guy quit for the 3rd time and the women's 145lb division continues to suck

Great card with some great finishes.
Thank you Uncle Dana.

UFC 251 is stacked already
Three title fights:
Usman v Burns
Volkanovski v Holloway
Yan v AldoRose v Andrade rematch is good too
-
@Duluth Hoping Rose comes correct and sees off a very lucky Andrade. I understand you have to put yourself in a position to win and Andrade did that but Rose is a much better fighter.
I expect Aldo to get torched by Yan but hoping he wins and immediately retires.
Max gets his belt back. I love both these guys but I think Holloway will be much better this time.
Usman vs Burns is hard to judge. They are teammates so it makes for a great fight. I'm going to go with Burns, just because.

@MiketheSnow I love the concept. Not sure how all the traveling works for all parties involved but I'm hopeful we get an Enter The Dragon/Mortal Kombat themed event.

I'm a fan of both fighters too. Volkanovski is the only guy in the division I cheer for ahead of Max.
That first fight was dominant from Volkanovski, Hollway would have to make significant changes. It was slightly closer towards the end but Volkanovski had a broken hand by then..
One thing that might be in Max's favour is the camps. I assume he's doing his normal preparation.
Alexander normally finishes his fight camp in Auckland but he can't do that this time because of covid. He claims it won't matter but it has to be a negative.
Riddell is one of his striking coaches and surely being around Adesanya and Hooker must help sharpen things up -

Hooker looked bloody huge at the weigh-ins and came in half an lb lighter than Pourier. I hope we get knees and feints from Hooker this time out. He's not the stand and trade fighter he thinks he is. He needs to be a sniper against Dustin.
Spot on.
Toe to toe will end badly.

Did you see the state on Gian Villante?

Jesus just saw that. Fights been cancelled too.
