@taniwharugby I'd rather see the poll asking 'is there anyone in NZ politics you trust right now?' And options that included 'no, they are all a bunch of fucking muppets'

I thought that was a requirement to be a politician?

What a surprise!
Good thing Aucklanders are paying the extra fuel tax for all that rail they're going to definitely get.

Another success story, just like Kiwibuild

@canefan although according to Shaw, it was the other part of the pick'n'mix GOvt. that poo poo'd it.
If that is the case, Winston must get in again to keep these fuckers on a short leash (I can't believe I just typed that)

Electric buses keep them all happy. Just sayin'

A decent news organisation would have asked for a copy of this fabled coalition agreement so we could verify what Shaw is saying. Useless.

It's right here (along with the Labour-Greens confidence and supply agreement).
There is, of course, allegedly a longer coalition document between Labour & NZ First that was anywhere between 32 and 38 pages, depending on the "font size".

@Smudge Yeah, it's the "real" one I meant, not the public one! Too secret for us to know about and the press don't even seem to be interested anymore.
Bit harsh to blame the media for not getting hold of it (other than through a leak) . The Ombudsman ruled it didn't have to be released after OIA requests and complaints from the Opposition and media and I suspect it now exists as a couple of copies tucked away in the respective safes of each party.

Maybe harsh, I just don't know why they aren't using every opportunity like this to wheedle it out of the coalition partners. Aren't they even curious? I'm dying to know what black-hearted Winston put in there. I'm also interested to know how it would be enforceable (except politically).

Latest Colmar Brunton poll. Big recovery for National, NZ First drops some more, but Labour can still govern alone.

One thing I'm pretty certain of, is that there wont be a simple majority. Key couldn't do it, despite similar levels of support. Election campaigns give oxygen to minor parties, and often level things up.
Polls super volatile too, with a 9 point swing in a few weeks. Remarkable considering the campaign arguably hasn't really kicked off yet

Agree, there's 15.5% undecided, that gives a lot of hope.
