the good people on both sides lie
I was astounded at how poorly Trump failed at that moment. It's an obvious lie, it's been repeated for years and it was in Biden's campaign launch video.
It was clearly going to come up. He did not coherently push back on that and made no attempt to correct Wallace and Biden when asked for a response.

There is nothing in their goading on White Supremacist militia. In the context of being asked to denounce right wing groups (which he said he was happy to do), he asked for a name and in his inarticulate manner told them to stand down.
To see more in that sentence, you have to have bought into the Trump is racist/white supremacist lie.

Yeah, he completely failed that moment.

Not only did he fail to condemn White Supremacits. He said nearly all the violence was coming from the far left (not true) and told a far right White Supremacist group to "stand by". Shameful.
Most sane people I know tell Neo-Nazis and racists to f##k off.

@Rembrandt The Proud Boys are Gavin McInnes' lot. He has made appalling remarks against Black people, Asians and Jews on many occasions. He advocates violence against his opponents.
The FBI have identified them as a extremist, White Nationalist group. They have been linked to the violence in Berkeley in 2017.

Good example of how politics is in the US right now. People just see what they want to see.
I posted above the transcript of Trump denouncing white supremacists, and even the clip you posted he's telling Proud Boys to "stand down" (See I can take words out of context too!).
-
@Kirwan Watch the whole clip again and try to be open-minded. It's obvious that Trump is saying the violence is from the left not the right. Proud Boys activists saw Trump's words as supportive.
He has belatedly condemned Neo-Nazis groups today, but why did he fail to do so publicly yesterday?
-
It’s been reported Chris Wallace has been a registered Democrat for 2 decades ,
There is another problem in America, try and find someone who is neutral to do it , they probably don’t exist
-
@sparky Sorry I was being facetious. I'm familiar with the Proud Boys. I haven't seen any evidence that they are a white nationalist (let alone white supremacist group) if you have a source or evidence of this Id be happy to look at it.
Gavin is the founder, but also a comedian who makes non-pc comedy, it was set up jokingly as a drinking group and then it morphed into a group to stand against Antifa, and yes 100% correct they do this through violence which is wrong.
I first came across them back in 2017 when journalist Tim Pool was doing on-the-ground live stream reporting on the protests after Trumps election (Including Berkeley). He too was of the opinion touted by mainstream outlets that they were white nationalists however upon interviewing both them and antifa he soon learned that this was not correct. They are pro family, pro freedom, pro constitution and pro America. Their leader is Enrique Tarrio
I'd struggle to even see them as far right. Certainly conservative, definitely not racist. Big Trump fans so when the moderator lumped them in as 'white supremacists' this really seemed like a planned attempt to have Trump call his supporters racists.

Belatedly? He condemned them within days of the statue violence years ago. He also said in the debate yesterday he was happy to do then as well, he was just asking for a group to identify. And all they could come up with is the Proud Boys (hint, not a white nationalist group).
Do you think the riots currently happening in the US are right wing based? Portland, for example?

Almost all of the violence IS from the left.
ANITFA (who, according to Joe are just an idea), black militants and anyone who hates the system.Fun activity.
Type www.antifa.com into the address bar and see where it redirects you -

Will be interesting to see what Rittenhouse's lawyer does with this.
It didn't go well for CNN/ABC and others who tried to paint that kid Nick Sandmann as a white supremacist without any evidenceAn Hispanic man that shoots 2 white rioters is a white supremacist, it’s getting ridiculous

Most of the violence is coming from the left. Unless you think Antifa is not left wing
