Legs II this morning - good session - leg extensions, leg press superset with calf press, DB hamstring curls, banded squats, hip thrusts and a 30min ride. Oh and abs in there too.
Didn’t get enough of a workout yesterday ? Curry probably wasn’t strong enough

Friday - shoulders and arms
Sat - no nothings
Sunday - short ride at some local trails but they were shite so packed it in after 30mins or so.This morning - started the week the right way....DEADLIFTS. Decent pull workout overall. Finished with a 15km ride.

Geee been almost a week!
Friday - shoulders and arms in the am and then in arvo shot out to the forrest for 20km of trails. Always a good workout - approx 500m in hill climbs and 1200 cals sweated out.
Sat/Sun - no nothings
Monday - pull + 10km ride
Tues - push + 10km ride
Weds - legs + 10km ride. Squats good today. Weight going up. Finished with a nasty 20 repper at 80kg....hadnt done that for a while! -

Trying to keep my knees functional mate. It helps me a lot. Well it was til I tweaked it out fishing on the weekend.

Haha just kidding. I’m all about functionality, as long as there’s not too much running then you end up like a couple of my ultra marathon running, gaunt, skinny as fuck drinking mates.

Good week off down the beach. Did a few rides including a 40km effort out to opito bay. Longest ride I've done since I was about 16 I'd day. Hills were brutal. Surprisingly felt pretty good the next day.

Back in the gym this morning for upper body session and then a 14km ride on the bike. Summer shred is underway (although theres a fair bit of brownie in the cupboard that wont eat itself)

Still alive and easing back into training this week.
Doing the old school 5x5 and working up to two rotations a week of
Day 1 - 5x5 of bench, squats, bb rows
Day 2 - 5x5 of pullups, overhead press and 1x5 for deadlifts (they get enough reps in the warm up sets)Each day also has a couple of accessory type exercises in there too.
Aiming to break up the two days with a stretching/cardio/recovery type of session. Weights are pretty light but will ramp up quickly as trying to add weight to the bar every session as long as I can complete the 5x5.

Cant recall the end of last week but weekend to now was
Saturday - 16km suburban mtb ride with Phin
Sunday - 5x5 bench, squat and row. All weights up. Knee played up at first but realised I hadnt really done my warmups so did them and then all good. Plus accessory exercises
Monday - 23km mtb ride on the forest trails
Tuesday - 5x5 gym day - pullups, OHP and deadlifts + accessory exercises -
We know we are seasoned lifters when we get niggles if we forget to do our warm ups lol.

Yeah mate. First squat and I was like "Awwww fark here we go again..." glad I sorted it.
Was only person in the gym too so had my own sounds cranking through the system. Pretty enjoyable session
