Heath Franklin. And some of the stuff Fletch and Hindy do is pretty funny.
I agree with earlier sentiments around Leigh Hart. He'd be the funniest Kiwi this century.John Clarke?

I’ll have to have a look at this later, dinner plans are getting in the way but Black Books ( so good watching this again on Netflix ) is one of the all time great British Comedies. Hopefully this is decent too.

Now THAT'S how you own your shit!
Been working on the 2 x almost-teens ability to laugh at themselves, accept their mistakes etc.
You think they're too young for this educational piece? 🤣

Still one of the funniest things I've seen.
I don't know how many times I've watched it and it still gets me, everytime.

Known about in the most unlikely places. Sent a link to the Fred Dagg "Never teach a Sheila to drive a tractor" sketch to the farmer up the lane as he was doing exactly that with his girlfriend/now wife.
He immediately came back with "Is that the bloke who did "The Front Fell Off"?

Certainly is. I was sent a link to it by a Brit mate from Hong Kong. He's never been to Aus or NZ but knew John Clarke's work. "The front fell off" must have been quite big in Britain?

It's such a stupid joke. Just executed perfectly.

Don't think so - more a viral thing I guess. I've sent links of his stuff to friends and they've become immediate fans. One teaches English Lit at a red-brick uni and thinks his poetry inspired.

And brilliantly written. Grew up on Fred Dagg and the his world of Bruce Baylis, The Trevs and Barry Fortenbrae...

@victor-meldrew You just couldn't say that shit these days. He's got it all in there, racist, sexist, drink driving, and so much more. It should come with steak knives. Love it.
