so are people wearing masks on flights?
Given this person was an Aussie (or Kiwi living in Aus) they would unlikely have had the NZ Contact tracer app to register all the places they went, and given they were a tourist for the weekend, there will be alot!
-
Not sure why they decided to leave the border with NSW open when they closed the one with Victoria almost immediately. Major fuck up by the MOH. Cindy telling people who have been in the areas of interest not to come to NZ is just amateurish . People don't listen you naive muppet..

so, a pharmacy* huh...not feeling well in a world full of pandemic and then you carry on your merry way hitting tourist spots?
*Maybe it was just for deodorant or hair gel they went there, but who knows....

Jeez fellas, everyone is a bit jumpy here aren't they? I went to the chemist yesterday (got hairspray for my daughter, a prescription for my son, and some Toothpaste) - better isolate for a week or so.
Some folk won't listen to targeted restrictions? Better slam the border shut! Should probably also ban knives from all society because stabbings occur sometimes.
Just highlights for me how fucking stupid this situation is we are in. Nobody is in hospital, hardly anyone is sick, we have supposed world class tracing systems, and yet we have complete apathy for vaccinations and zero tolerance for any cases.

As an aside, I'm in priority 'Group Three' and was texted about booking a vax. The very earliest I've been able to get booked for locally is the 7th of August...

I'm booked in for Pfizer 1 in 3 weeks, looking forward to my free WiFi wherever I go!

Not necessarily. You can buy many products at a chemist that you use also if you don't feel sick. Maybe he just needed a plaster for a blister. Or they forgot to bring their deodorant.

I think the issue is people are scared about what happens if we go back into lockdown, so many will over react.

Te Papa is a location of interest? First time for everything.
(yes, was too scared to tweet this for fear of being attacked by Wellingtonians).

As a non Wellingtonian, who now actively hates the place due to the Canes , I love Te Papa. I will find the login details to my Twitter and join the Wellingtonians to attack you if you do tweet.
