@snowy well it has dropped to 5.5/10 from 84 people, so trending in the right direction for @Kruse
Wow... it's trending FAST.
Now: 1.7/10 from 103 people. (103 people watched this? WTAF?)
The one person who bothered to write anything about it has this to say:by far THE most original, the most amazing, easily the best film of 2021. NOT.
When somebody with that level of smarts gives you 1/10 - you know you've done something wrong.
Unfortunately - although the rating is that low - it looks like it's terrible because it's boring and unimaginative... rather than the twisted genius of Sharks of the Corn or The Velocipastor. I'm afraid I'm going to have to give it a miss.House of Quarantine Ratings
Watching the IMDB rating of this movie is more interesting than the movie itself (I assume).
10 ratings - 7.2/10
84 ratings - 5.5/10
103 ratings - 1.7/10
480 ratings - 6.7/10 (45.6% of ratings are 10/10 ?) -
watched JOLT on amazon on the weekend
very much comic book action, Kate Beckinsale still looks good but think other actresses could have made this better.
2.5 electric shocks out of 5 evil bosses

@bayimports I liked it, would give it half a point more than you, good fun.
Agree with your comic book comment though.

I also watched Nobody as a back to back blow your brains out.. all villains must die shoot em up fest. Body count on Saturday night was huge. lol and I gave this the extra .5 point
I rated this one as 3 accountants out of 5 thousand empty shell casings
both lose points for lack of nudity, especially the one that had Kate, as that was one that should have had revealed her assets ..and doubled the movies score

Sheesh, are you trying to get shunned from the Fern? You can’t say anything even slightly negative about Beckinsale (or Elizabeth Hurley) …

lol, that is true but in context..she is still great to look at, but her acting (may have been bad before, but I didnt notice) seems to have got worse. I did mention that if she took her top off, score gets doubled but unfortunately she did not. But alas yes, there will be those that even think this is a lot of criticism..

@bayimports tbf when I saw the trailer and Kate in it, I knew it wasn't likely to be up for any acting or best film awards, she has never been a top actress, but then she is still better than others, has done well with the roles she has had (Selene being a big 'un)

Red Sparrow (2018) with Jennifer Lawrence and luminaries like Charlotte Rampling & Jeremy Irons. Not a bad watch - intriguing plot but a bit predictable at times. Some pretty violent scenes.
3 Vladimir Putins out of 5 Boris Yeltsin's

I quite enjoyed it too. A number of relatively gentle twists IIRC

@mn5 little known whimpy lead, Jason Mamoa, visionary director....
The big give away is Jason Mamoa. He generally attaches himself to utter shit.
Not sure I base too much on that. He’ll just be part of the big ensemble, if his part is like the movie in the 80s he’ll barely be in it at all to be honest.
