This might be extraordinarily hipsterish and/or gay but have started using almond milk in my coffee and am loving it. Really farking good.
I didn't even know almonds had teats.
Fuck the machines they use must be small.

Well I'm glad I posted that....
Seriously, it tastes really good. Surely can't be hipster if it's $1.43 long lasting almond milk from Aldi?

Well of course you're shopping at Aldi after you bought those glassless glasses.
But what do you spend your money on if you're not buying socks?

I've got one of these ordered (through Kickstarter) to supplement my coffee device overkill (espresso machine, Blue Bottle Coffee drip filter with Stagg electric gooseneck kettle, electric syphon, immersion cold filter, traditional tower cold filter, Aeropress, travel Aeropress). Delivery in December, so xmas present for myself
While not as important as the coffee, the machine, or the skill of the person making it, is the drinking vessel.
For the past couple of years I have been using Huskee cups - they are great. They are made from coffee husks, and even at home I drink it using the lid, as the shape of the lid lets out the right amount of liquid and aroma to make for a delicious mouthful. Honestly, coffee tastes better out of these cups. There are not many places in NZ, but there is a reasonble number of coffee shops in Aus that use these with an exchange system. You buy your cup initally, then you can take in a dirty one when you want a coffee, and they make it in a clean cup for you to takeaway. https://huskee.co/huskeecup/

If anyone wants to order a DeLonghi machine online let me know - I have a mate who can get me a 20% discount code on one of those beasts

My time with Nespresso is at an end
My new Jura machine should be here any day

I have a roaster round the corner, unfortunately their actual barista isn't the best so end up going the other way to the normal coffee shop with the good barista

Given the very limited range of food and drink I consume, my opinion is probably not valid. I might like it because it's a rare new taste sensation. Bit sad really but works for me.
