The campaign against Joe Rogan's podcast

@victor-meldrew he was also on this podcast in November 21

Something I heard the other day, which may be complete BS, was that Rogan's audience approximately halved when he went exclusively on Spotify, so kicking him off might increase his the size of his platform.
Can't see that trying to de-platform him that way would have any effect that advocates hope for.

Lose half your audience, gain 100mill.
Not exactly a tough decision!!

@majorrage Yep, definitely better conversion rates ...
BTW, podcasts are surely due for a regulatory smackdown soon. Cum Town and Legion of Skanks can't be advertising pharmaceuticals and drugs forever ...
I actually don't listen to podcasts. Never really had the desire to listen to other people speak / share their views for any longer time than your average TV interview of 5-10 mins. I've made two exceptions for this
-
Rogan with Lance Armstrong. Found this very compelling as Rogan gave him the time of day & almost supported Armstrong in all he did to understand his thought process.
-
Malcolm Gladwell on the Toyota stuck accelerator scandal. Had to as we had a huge position in Toyota at work so needed to understand it more.
It's not for me.

I don't listen to any "serious" or popular non-fiction/interview podcasts. They seem incredibly boring and inefficient to me. I only want entertainment.
I do listen to quite a lot of comedy podcasts, and some entertaining ones about movies or music. Podcasts are probably the best form of comedy now, especially mean spirited material.
Rogan's three hour boredom-fests are insufferably dull to me, and he has some absolute retards on.
-
@tim his mma podcasts are pretty good.
Some guests do better than others.
I think like every person he has succumbed to talking about covid too much, so hard not too when your opposed to so much going on.
His position is basically get the population healthy and dont force vaccines on people. With a liberal dose of ivermectin is great.
Russel brands video is great.

Rogan hosted views that could damage a lot of people.
Yes, Dick Cheney’s one-percent doctrine. “Could.”
I have no idea as to whether you are a terrestrial.

"Liberals" like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have now become wannabe suppressors of free speech. Hilarious.
Nope. He can still talk. They're using their free rights to move their songs to another distributor.
Huh?
He wanted Rogan kicked off Spotify for Rogan hosting views contrary to the mainstream?
What a sad old man he has become.
Just a standard boring authoritarian trying to use his clout to bully others.
Neil Young, more like Neil Old.Rogan hosted views that could damage a lot of people.
Oh NO!!!
Some rockstar sang about drugs in a song.
Another rapper didn't respect women in his lyrics.
Another female popstar was singing about sex related topics in an explicit manner.
BAN THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I thought we wanted to ban Neil Young and Joni Mitchell because they didn't believe in free speech?

James Blunt is a considerably better comedian than he is a musician. Certainly not too late to change careers.
Careful, he might take you on in the internet memes section.

He’s a nobody in the world of memes compared to me

Clapton must have great time management skills to appear on a podcast. I thought he’d be tied up with going through JJ Cales back catalogue looking for more boring songs to steal, suing fans and fooling people into thinking he’s a guitar legend
